Why in the world is Harris on the court in clutch time? Come on BCG, I know you like his size but this kid is not a great bball player.

Yeah, that's what I would like know, and why in the world is he taking a 3 pointer with 33 seconds left. Pitiful:mad:

One positive is that it looks like Meeks/Jasper are on there way back, both had some bright spots tonite

Did anyone see Meeks actually commit the foul that was called on him when UK had the five second call against Florida? I really did not understand what happened there.

The foul occurred way before the UF player got to the UK bench. It happened when Meeks was being picked.

Florida seemed to have had a lot of favorable calls in this one... although they didn't capitalize that well. It always seems as if the other team can hit clutch shots (Hodge's three to make it a five-point game.) The shot to send it into overtime by Bradley was huge, but just a few minutes earlier, he wasted to consecutive possesions with two consecutive offensive fouls... he and Crawford try to do too much.

So who takes the shots?

THere is no option other than Bradley and Crawford with Meeks out and Patterson playing on one leg.

They are at least competing now! Maybe sooner or later they will start winning a couple and next year have a decent year, over .500.

UK needs to play with the same sense of urgency that they have shown late in games a lot earlier in the game.

Interesting to note that Krebs is now the 3 point specialist off the bench.

UT, USC, and UGA are the next three. I see 6-7 more wins for UK the rest of the season, meaning that they would go into the SEC tourney at 14-15 for the season, they would have to two games in the SEC tourney to get to the NIT.

:lol::lol:

Exactly what I did when I heard that.

I absolutely agree, but the way these games have been going as of late it's hard to get them that time... When you're trying to get back in the game it's hard to put Coury in over Patterson or Porter in over Crawford...

I hate to go back to UC again, but the teams paths are so similar, I think it fits. When UC has rested Vaughn, Williamson and Warren, the guys off the bench haven't been a scoring threat very often but they have played their tails off on D and prevented a run while buying time. I fully agree that the major problem with the bench depth is they can't seem to do much on either end right now... ;)

Uf 40 free throws UK 18

And the Gators hit 12 for 12 in the overtime.

How did you see it? They never had a shot of it on any of the replays.

Next year, Kentucky should be able to win the games like this one. IMO, Patterson should have gotten the ball a whole lot more than he did...

He was doing nothing against Speights... These last 2 games should show people how much more growing Patterson has to do as a player before he even thinks about the NBA... He'll be there for a couple of years at least, unless he just gets frustrated and gives up... And he doesn't strike me as the type to do so.

UK could was down by 3 points with 48 seconds to go. Could have played defense and tried to get a stop but they decided to foul and it turned out to be a lot wose than it really was.

UF had struggled at the free throw line all night. Fouling was the right thing to do, IMO.

That is what they were conditioned for in the summer and fall.

Alot of minutes, but who do you take out and who do you put in?

Brother I feel your pain. While Duke was a much better team than this UK team, they couldn't afford to take Redick or Shel out, and that cost them come tourney time.
