May be a good set up man. He's a little guy too. 5'7" and 145 pounds.

December 22, 200718 yr I'm curious why Hamilton suddenly became trade bait when the season ended. It seemed like his name was mentioned in every trade scenario for current major leaguers. In the end, he was dealt for a couple of minor leaguers. It makes one wonder if there are some more issues we don't know about.

By dealing away Hamilton, they trade away a rather injury-prone player from a position of strength to fill a clear need at another position. That my friends is how you do it....well done WK and the Reds!

I too will miss him in a Reds' uniform, but at the end of the day we didn't lose much (in terms of baseball) to gain a lot.

December 22, 200718 yr Do some research next time. Volquez will compete for, and most likely win of the jobs in the starting rotation. He's stuff is electric. The Reds had to move an outfielder to make room for Jay Bruce. Please don't talk so much the next time you sit behind me at the Reds game. :sssh: Bruce can play CF? RH or LH? I haven't been keeping up.
