I think people need to understand that when you have just lost a game in OT like X did, it is pretty natural to let some of the frustration come through.

 

That's true. We already knew that in 2003 that "You can't beat an All-American", X "only had 2 losses last year" and finally, in 2005 "The better team didn't win". I guess it is very natural for some. :lol:

Understand, we lost the game, but before you continue to lamblast our school, coaches, players, and fans, consider what the result may have been with the correct call on the Phillips fumble(Who by the way, we couldn't stop all night)?

I don't think our comments are were not directed at the school, players or fans, rather one person who refuses to admit that maybe, just maybe the better team won. He usually also has more excuses for losses then a dog has fleas. Do you think he'll pull the LAST GAME tee shirts out of the mothballs?

To play Devil's Advocate a bit here, I believe the question Glaser was asked was "What did you tell your kids about this tough loss," and that prompted his rambling, emotional comment. I would not read it as disrespect toward Trinity, or an inability of Glaser to face reality, but more as he's recounting what he told his kids to keep their spirits up after a heartbreaking loss.

 

You have to look at stuff like this from both sides of the coin sometimes and quit looking for perceived slights.
