Like I said in the update thread, I really owe you an apology. I didn't know you were 30 seconds up on me. It was freaking me out that every time something cool would happen, you would have beaten me to it! :lol:

 

I got a little frustrated. But I was taught a lesson when the hair ribbon that was holding the wires together at the KHSAA broke and we all lost the feed. You stepped in and saved the day and we all appreciate it!! :thumb:

Coach G will surely get second guessed for not kicking the FG. But, seems like there were a heck of lot more good play calls than bad. Certainly a most bitter loss for X. Two great teams for sure. Congrats again to the Rocks.

Not kicking the FG to go up two scores with 2:30 to play will go down as the all time Glaser lunacy.

 

I wonder how Mark Sander would look in green and gold.

He probably didnt kick it because defense was scarce at that point and 3 points wouldn't have meant much. Glaser is usually so conservative it irks me, then he does this?

 

ALso, can't wait to see the replay. Phillips fumbled but they said knee was down, though replay showed it wasn't down per radio guys. Next play was a TD. Oh well, I could'nt stand replay in HS, so you gotta live with that stuff I guess. NO sour grapes here, please don't say that to me. Just venting for a few more minutes, then I'm done!

KNowing the Karma trinity has over X in this game though, they would have blocked the FG and run it back. I wont second guess (although I guess I did) because I can't do what they do.

Man, all X fans will be right there with you. Some losses are more agonizing than others. This will be one of them. But, X will be back up there competing for the state title next year. What an improbable win by T! Kinda like the N.E. Patriots of KY h.s. football. Figure out a way to win.

I know what you mean. In 2005 when we got our tail handed to us by NCC it was a long ride back to Western Kentucky. Very quite in the van.

Congrats to T but I have to say this....my hats goes off to Coach Glaser for the classy move of asking and allowing Ty Scroggins at Central to use their field for practice to prepare for PJCS. Just cant say enough about it...that was totally a class act.

 

For what its worth, we can debate it till the cows come home..but at least this years state final was worth the price of admission. Im not a grad or fan of either T or X, but it was nice to see a real 6-A (previously 4-A) final that wasnt a blow out. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Congratulations to Trinity on winning the championship. Champions never give up and you certainly didn't. These games between these two champions never disappoint. Congratulations to X on another great season. I know you're disappointed but you certainly have no reason to hang your heads.

WOW, what can I say? Congrats to X on a great season. My "ROCKS" are just unreal. Never count them out. They prepare all season for the playoffs. I am so proud of them. Not many outside of the Trinity family gave them much of a chance, even on the poll on this site, they were huge underdogs. Again, congratulations to X on a wonderful season.

Congrats Rocks--you got our number. Phillips, Weitlauf and Robey were beasts tonight. I had a good angle on Phillips fumble....it was a fumble. But X should have put the game away long before that. Duece didn't touch the ball on X's last series before T scored in regulation? He looked healthy and explosive to me. Why he didn't carry the ball 30 times escapes me. We moved the ball with Duece....we didn't without him. I question why we passed on 2nd and 7 in OT. The momentum had shifted. It was Duece time...or Ben's time with his legs. I'm very disappointed, not in our effort...but in our play calling and personnel decisions.
