I may come up and watch some games this weekend if there is that much action. On another note we, Johnson County, will not be entering the 13U state tourney. We do plan on playing in 12U nationals though.

April 4, 200818 yr We (Albany Bulldogs) have 2 teams entered and Dalton will not be playing with either. He is playing with the Ville in DI. We have a chance to do pretty well but I think the Hornets and the Suns will be favored with Somerset and Lincoln County also doing well. The Blue team is our stronger team and we should advance out of pool play but after that I just don't know.
April 5, 200818 yr Tonight, Friday, the 9/u Wolfpack looked really good beating the Colonels by 12-14. The Sonics looked good but didn't play anybody. The game of the night was the Richmond Stars defeating Hoop Dreams by 2. In the 11/u Mason lost to Winn City by 2 in another great game. The Blaze beat the Richmond Stars by 4 in a closely contested game. Should be a great weekend!

Most of the teams were from Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. There were just a few Kentucky teams in the 13U division. Looked like a nice weekend for Dave.

There were just a few Kentucky teams in the 13U division. Looked like a nice weekend for Dave. Lets see 107 teams x $100, thats over 10 Girrr. Wonder if Dave had to take out extra insurance for possible injuries and maiming. I did get confirmation that the Tar Heels 12U won the whole thing today over the Michigan Titans. They beat the Cincinnati Lakers as well in the tournament. I am not sure but I know the parents of the Tar Heels were making a huge case for having Pouncy come back to coach the boys after their performance in the State Tourney.
April 7, 200818 yr 16's and 17's played at Dixie Heights this past weekend. From what I saw the ref'ng was good...kept the games under control, stayed on schedule, and good facility.
