How big is the differance in D1 and D2 nationals?

Where are the GTown boys playing this weekend? Rainman, keep me posted on the locations of your games. I wouldnt mind coming out to watch since its in our backyard here. SportsPlus in Evendale?

 

Clark Montessori school is off Exit 6 on I-75 in OH, or something like that. We play at 6 tomorrow night, which won't be fun trying to fight Friday night rush hour traffic. We play the Cincy Warriors first, then the Cincy Knights tomorrow at 9 PM. Saturday, we play New Martinsville Eagles (anybody ever heard of them?). Should be a good prep for us for state the following weekend. We have to find ways to compensate for our our lack of a great inside game, and playing teams of this caliber will give us opportunities to figure it out before the state.

To this point above, I think there is always a handful of teams in D2 that could compete (not for a title, but in pool play) in D1. And, there will always be a couple of D1 teams that really should be in D2.

Cincy Warriors have some big kids and tons of depth. I think the NKY Wolfpack 13U beat them in a BCI a few weeks back by 5 or so. I am not familiar with Cincy Knights 13U team nor the New Martinsville team.

13U State AAU is up on KBA website.

4Teams in DI and 15 or 16 in DII.

Kind of very disappointing on the low turnout of teams.

 

Looks like the NKY Warriors may have drawn into the toughest DII Pool???

The Ville and Georgetown Thunder play their 1st games against each other on Saturday morning 11:40 on court 1. After what I sall tonight out of the Thunder this should be a great ballgame.

No but they had Akeem who played with the Tigers last year and some other big kids.

You got any info on Bullit Storm or the Madison Co. Colonels HoopDR? Im not too disappointed with the NKY Warriors pool, Im looking forward to playing the Louisville Storm now that we picked up 6'2 Grosser. Im hoping he can match up with Goral down on the blocks. All 3 games should be fun, all in the same day isnt the best scenario but oh well.

Madison Co Colonels will be a good tight game could go either way.

Louisville Storm has 3 big kids and some very good outside shooters.

The Knights actually did have Grimes - he is a stud. Wingfield doesn't play for them - at least he didn't last year. They had about 6 kids taller than our biggest kid. The Thunder did't have Gover. But with all the talent on the floor I thought Monroe was the best player in that game. I think he had 19 points and hit some big shots.

That is about what I expected. We played Bullitt in last year's tourney and beat em pretty handedly. I expect the Lou. Storm to be very good and I know very well they have some nice players. We got em last year in bracket play and lost by 11 or 12. We also played em in the Georgetown Tourney.

 

I know Madison Co. played well in last year's tourney so looks like that will be a great game for the NKY Warriors.

Wow, 6 kids taller than your biggest kid which I am assuming is Portwood at this point or STrong. :scared: Glad to hear Mason played well, you all are very fortunate to have two leftys in those guard slots.
