If I were T I would be worried about one thing, the Tigers have been playing pretty incredible defense with little emotion, how good will they be Sat. playing their rivals with so much on the line? I think they will be sky high and the D will take it up a notch!

On the other hand, Trinity has been scoring at will with little emotion. How good will they be with so much on the line? St X may well win this game. If they do, congratulations. Just don't expect it to be because they wanted it more.

St. X absolutely, positively, undoubtedly HAS to win this game. Should T pull the upset, that pool on Poplar Level will be boiling! The balance of power in the universe is at hand here... to think the Rocks would gain another title is unthinkable!

Last time I checked T was about 1 questionable spot yard in 2005 ( Good Tackle!) and a rainstorm away from being swept for 3 years straight against their rival. Centre Rocks avatar reminds everyone here on BGP that X won 3 out of 4 games that year. Maybe this year 2007, it becomes 4 out of 4. Add this years soccer's 2 for 2 wins. Golf? Who needs to win it more? If not football, what sport will T win this year?

^^ The real question is not that X "has to win" but What is Trinity going to do if Beaty Loses?? Will Lampley releave him of his services? That is the pressure I see. The Rock faithfull have become accostomed to winning on a regular basis. Could Cloverdale, the greatest assistant coach in the world take over?? Just how long will he be happy being the "assistant" coach? Better keep up that win at all cost approach....

Thanks for the surperlatives, yet I'm not seeing the X posters claiming anything but a close game... In all do respect, the Tiger posters are giving great respect to the Trinity program, rightfull so. Why do the Rock faithful have to play the poor me, we arn't any good senerio???? Everyone know it will be a very tough, hard fought, highly contested game. May the best team win..... After 2005, I think we will be prepared to play a sound game for 48 minutes.....

We are a win at all costs program while X really doesn't stress winning, it just happens and when they do win they do it the right way.

 

I don't recall anyone from our side saying that Trinity is no good. As I recall a few from the X side even suggested that maybe we inflated our numbers a bit by running the score up on people. All that bad karma is bound to catch up with us eventually.

 

We realize that this edition of the Tigers maybe the best team to strap 'em on since the '72 Dolphins ran the table and I for one am nothing if not realistic.

Being from the mountains we would say, OH so close but no Cigar! in reference to the Tiger's Title Game of 2005 & regular season game of 2006.

 

How did the Tigers win so big during the 2005 regular season game and lose the Title game by as you stated a bad spot (Good Tackle)?

 

And how in the regular season game did Trinity score 10 points and the Tigers 0 in 2006, did they get points for having shown up or did they get points for not bringing an umbrella to the game?

What the heck is going on, have the Catholic Schools started up a KHSAA boxing league, is that you reference to taking off the gloves?

 

I still believe that Tigers are the best team in 2007, so they will and have to win to keep pace with the Rocks, it is just their time to win, I mean it would not be fun for all if the Rocks just kept winning state titles and were not the best team.

I NEVER said we were not any good. But the fact is the Rocks do not match up well with the 12th ranked in the country, "BEST DEFENSE IN THE STATE" St. X Tigers. I agree with some of the other T fans. No way we can win this game.
