Does anyone know where the refereeing crew will be from? I was told from "Central Kentucky." Whether that means Fayette County or some other geographic area, I do not know. Unlike in years past, the crews working the Trinity playoff games have done a very good job, IMO. in that they have called the games fairly and consistently and pretty much the way they're called in Jefferson County.

Now that is not really fair is it? To lump such a wide group together under one general and incorrect heading. You must have missed many of the posts which discussed "respect for the opponent."

 

 

 

I did see your post and thats why i said MOST T fans not all! and everyone else who said talk smack back thats not what im about. I love high school football and i stick behind my alma mater. I didnt and wont predict a Boone Co. win all i hope is they keep it close which im not even sure they will do but i do know they will come in with their A game and they are gonna need it..... Don't know much about Trinity other than they are probably the best team in the state, but I have seen Boone play and Farris is a warrior and a heck of a running back. Go Boone bring a 6A title to NKY!! I see Boone by 3 in a battle:thumb:

Boone County IS going to Shock the world. See, all us HHS fans have already been talking about Number 17, NCC making plans, etc. I see Boone as the unsung hero from NKY. C'MON boys go out there and make your fellow NKY supporters proud.

I have thought about that many times. I think the game would be MUCH MUCH more competitive but I think Trinity would still be victorious. Coaching and the fundamentals that Trinity posses, year in and year out is the difference between the two.

 

So talent has nothing to do with it? You can have the best coaches in the world and without talent your not going to win.

Where did you read talent has nothing to do with it? The point is, Trinity is an awesome program, and a large, large part of that is coaching. If you combined all the Boone county schools into one team, they would certainly have plenty of talent to choose from, but they don't have the coaching.

I don't think that's true at all. Some of the schools up there have remarkable coaches. Just because some of the head coaches might not be of outstanding caliber doesn't mean the assistants aren't.

Northern Ky has plenty of coaches to choose from, Dale Mueller of Highlands, Bob Schnieder of New Cath, Noel Rash of Beechwood, as well as many, many assistant coaches working behind the scenes.
