Northern Ky has plenty of coaches to choose from, Dale Mueller of Highlands, Bob Schnieder of New Cath, Noel Rash of Beechwood, as well as many, many assistant coaches working behind the scenes.

 

No one is talking about those schools. Read the posts.

So talent has nothing to do with it? You can have the best coaches in the world and without talent your not going to win.

when its all said and done coaches make the calls but its up to the boys on the field to make that play! T is very talented with very good coaches, Boone has talent but IMO coaching staff is a little suspect. As for if all 3 of Boone co. football teams (Boone Co, Conner, and Ryle) should combine we would have alot more talent to keep up with T and X but we will never get to see that. I dont see any of the schools closing with Boone Co. being the fastest growing county in the state!

Boone's football history commands a lot of respect. But a 30 point loss to Henry Clay bodes ill for this Boone team, going by comparative scores with Trinity's 36 point dismantling of HC. Boone will be long on effort but short on score tonight. Trinity 42 - Boone 14.

I agree in a scheduling sense. There is no reason Boone shouldn't play one Cincy power to prepare them for what it will take to beat T/X in the playoffs.

Kudos to BB on last night. Yes, even St X fans can cheer for an old Trinity grad sometimes. Oscar and Donna have done well keeping St Bernard, Trinity and U of L well stocked. Seeing Brian overcome his injury last night brings up a question for those in the know at T.

 

I know Nick Petrino got hurt( broken leg?) late in the final game last year and I believe so did Stein( collar bone?). First of all, I hope that tonight is injury free also. Second, When was the last time that Trinity had an injured QB that did not start a playoff game or at least finish the game? It seems like Stein, Petrino, Savko, and Brohm have all been healthy enough to complete (and win!) their games.

The last time I remember a QB injury having a significant effect on a championship game for Trinity was 97. I can't remember the kids name, but the Trinity quarterback in that one was either out or I believe hobbled.
