I respect every team that we play. Boone County is no exception. I have followed the ROCKS for 40 years and IMHO, this team has really come together and started playing at a different level when the playoffs started. I have nothing against B. C. other than the fact that they are another obstacle in the way of #18. I expect the ROCKS to take care of business Friday night. Have a safe trip down I-71.

That's my point. Every game that Boone or Ryle has played Trinity since Beatty's been here has been a blowout. If you're going to make these predictions in support of your team, fine. Just don't whine and say that the quotes were taken out of context and use revisionist history. :cry:

Up until 1975, class 3A was only Jefferson County. Through the 1972 season, class 3A in Jefferson County was divided into the City Region and the County Region. The city region was the old Louisville Independent schools and the Catholic schools. The county region was the old Jefferson County public schools. The county region was broken into four districts. The city region was not broken into districts. The two regions played for the 3A title, so the winner of the city region had a berth right into the championship game. There were ten teams in the old city region, so it was tough to win the region. In 1973, the city region was broken into two districts. That lasted for the 73 and 74 seasons. In 1975, class 4A ws formed, the city and county schools merged and the whole setup changed.

 

By the way, I think the old city region was Trinity, St X, Bishop David, DeSales, Flaget, Male, Manual, Atherton, Shawnee and Central. I think the city region won 16 of the 18 3A titles.

Here the Rocks go again this week they are playing another "Best Offensive Line in the State", along with the best running back in the state, by the way this Farris kid maybe the best. I just don't know how the Rocks will handle the team from Northern Kentucky.
