Neither Stud!! Just quite proud of where we come from. In Northern Kentucky (football territory) in our state. If Boone or any other N.ky football progam in 6A had the enrollment than you pick from (all Male school) we could compete somewhat more efficiently.

 

YOU can only play 11. Does it trouble you at all that we very rarely have any D-1 prospects - just outstanding high school kids. Additionally, they are sometimes not near the atheletes as the opposition.

Nothing bothers or troubles me excepting going to work on Monday morning and waiting for another Friday night to roll around and go play. There is (one thing that does bother me. Ready! when some people think that their schools opponent has no chance to win. If the opponent at this time of the year were not a formidable foe they would not be there. Years ago a young athlete from Louisville Ky had no chance against Heavyweight boxer Sonny Liston. Do you recall what happen to Mr. Liston. Just be proud to be from KY and that your team is still playing.

I do remember and you are absolutely correct. I tend to think most Rock supporters do not take any win for granted and have the utmost respect for every opponent. Most especially this Friday's. I know that's how the Coaches coach. Nobody got this far by being bad. So good luck to you and yours................but GO ROCKS..........

IMHO, outstanding coaching and preparation YEAR-ROUND + excellent scouting, game-planning and PASSING prowess are the keys to T's success. I agree it is not the inherent athletic ability that wins championships for T. I say - everyone needs to work smarter and harder to catch up to that level and not complain about enrollment, fan's attitudes (which seem just fine to me), private/public, etc. Boone, like most teams, falls well short in the above-mentioned keys to success. That's why T will handily defeat Boone, especially at T.

I love watching T play because they are so well-coached. Best wishes to both teams. As a NKY fan, I'll be pulling for Boone but know so very well the juggernaut that awaits them.

What's funny about this is someone said this exact thing in the Ryle/Trinity thread that CentreRocks keeps alluding too, and nearly every Trinity fan had an brain aneurism over it like it was some sort of slight to Trinity. Now a T fan says it and they get a pass.

Boone in a close one 29 to 28.

I have watched Boone a lot in the last 5 or 6 weeks, and to say they are 50/50 run to pass is dead wrong!! They are 80 percent run, or more. Their passing game is almost non-existent. And when they do pass, their QB overthrows his receivers.
