Any chance they will play on Thanksgiving day. I was there for that one and many other games at Bell county and have never been spit on. Dudley will control the tempo but Catholic wiil have a couple of scores on big plays. 14-13 you pick.

I picked LC, but I will be pulling for Bell. Something I am not sure that has been mention on here yet, but Dudley has beat LC in the playoffs before. He did it at Bourbon, on his way to winning the State Championship... :sssh:

Wow, it's hard to believe that Bill Letton coached at Paris and Dudley Hilton coached at Bourbon County.

I agree Bell has not played a schedule to get them prepared for the playoffs. My biggest fear is that they will come out like most of the games this year (just like Friday night) and wait until after half time to start playing. If this happens, I don't think we will have a chance. Bell will have to come out in full stride, and smack Lex in the mouth early. Then they will be able to roll. :thumb:

I think the bigger, stronger, faster, deeper team beats the team with the legendary coach and a ton of heart.

Can anyone explain why Bell County's football senior class has only six players?

1989-90 was an extremely warm winter with exceptional hunting and fishing so the birth rate in Bell Co. was way down those years.LOL

Seriously they usually only have 10-12 seniors on any given year. Last year 7 or 8 seniors. I think alot of it has to do with a very talented Jr. and Soph class. That had played in front of the older kids in Middle school and those kids just did not come out b/c they thought they would not get on the field.

Just another reason why Catholic should win they have 6 times the seniors. Sounds like the Spartans and the Persians.

I would have agree with you. LC looks to be a level above Bell in speed and size.

Bell Co. 21-14.

Speed and size vs one of the best if not the coach in State(Dudley Hilton) and kicking game and yes, i do believe that playing on Bell County's field will be a positive thing for the Bell County Bobcats so i am saying Bell County wins in close one Bell Co. 17 and L.C. 14 .

People are making it seem like that if the field is in bad condition that LC wont be able to play that well. I think that is totaly misleading considering that LC has more rushing yards than passing yards. Not to mention that they have one of the best running back in the state and a good back up that actually has more yards. The biggest weapon that Bell has imo is the kicking game. A sloppy field only hurts his chances to make field goals from long range and to kick the ball into the endzone on kickoffs.

How many sloppy fields has LC played on this year? Just b/c they can run the ball does not mean they can do it in mud. If in fact the field is in bad conditon, which it typically is in November.

Bell does not kick that many FG's to begin with.

You may be bigger and faster , not stronger!!!!
