In order for Bell to win they need to cut out personal fouls and unsportsman like conduct. They also need to tell their fans to quit "SPITTING" on the visitors. This is a game and both sides has the right to cheer for their team. We have to respect each other and everyone has feelings for their team. It is bad to go to the concession stand and get spit on from fans in the bleachers. this has happened every time in Bell from back into the 1980's and I think it is very disgusting

I have been atop Log Mountain and wish I could be there Friday night to watch this contest. I have had a scheduled meeting for about a year now and, thus can not attend this great football game.

I think Lexington Catholic's speed will hurt Bell County. I think Winston Guy will be put in the shotgun formation and take a direct snap and attempt to outmaneuver the Bobcat defense. This was very effective for Henry Clay with Chase Minnifield last year at Bell County. Also, Shane Isreal needs just a crease to be able to take it to the house.

I think Bell County and the masterful Dudley Hilton will manage the game and the clock to limit the Lexington Catholic touches. No one is better at this than Dudley! Lexington Catholic wants a fast paced game.....Bell County a slower one. The winner of pace will definitely win this game.

In the end, I predict a close, lower scoring ballgame. I'll site the playoff game on Log Mountain just a few years ago versus Ft. Thomas Highlands. I think this one will be similar. The difference this time is that Bell County scores one or two more times than they did in that one and pulls out a very physical football game.

Wish I didn't have that appointment and could see this one firsthand!

One thing that jumps out at me about this contest is that LC has given up somewhere AROUND 2000 rushing this year. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

In response to this message, The Knights have played a much much tougher schedule than Bell County. Their defense has improved every game. In their most recent game against boyle, they held them to 7 rushing yards.

You are close!

One statistic that really sticks out to me about Lexington Catholic. There opponents are 19 for 116 on third down conversions. That's only 16% which is unheard of.

Fantastic third down defense by the Knights!

I'm with Raiderbird. LexCath is extremely fast and if I remember correctly "BIG". I see LexCath coming out on top in a similar way the Birds always do. Maybe by a last second filed goal. They have a pretty good kicker. Go Privates!!!:D

Since the 1980s you have been spit on everytime you go to the concession stand? For 1 thing, on the visitor's side the concession stand is not very close to the stadium and there is no fans over there. Why would you be on the Bell County side?

Secondly, I believe you need to quit making accusations like this. People don't sit at the edge of the bleachers and plan on spitting on people. Maybe some little kid may have done something like this, but its not something that happens. You need to get over it and get back on topic.

I will take Bell Co. in this one. A slow paced game, advantage to Bell though. I agree that Lex. Cath has alot of speed. But if Dudley and his boys can manage the clock i think that they will win in a rowdy Log Mountain stadium.

Doodle as I Bell Co. Fan I apologize. Did you notify one of the game administrators/principals from Bell Co? I can promise you none of them would have let it go on any longer. First incident I have ever heard of this at Bell Co. I have been their many times both as a fan and a fan of the opposing team in some heated games never heard of such a situation.

As for the personal fouls two were ridiculous. 1 was for running into the umpire while engaged in a block (Are officials not part of the field?). The other was for arguing with a official about the possession of the ball. And the third was well deserved for leading with the helmet.

How many Seniors does Catholic have? Also how many games have they played on grass?

Thank you for your apology!!! I am not upset that we lost Rock has been a struggling team this year and still in some of our learning phase for being so young. I probably would have never posted that but it highly upsets me when you go in the bathroom on Bells side and you hear Bell fans bad mouth your team I take it personal I am a BIG SUPPORTER of the ROCK and I am proud of our boy's no matter how well they play. And the only reason why I was on BELL's side was to get a loaded baked tater they don't serve them on the visitor side. Enough of that may the best team win. Good luck to both teams.

Lex-Cath has 34 seniors and is the biggest they have ever been up front.

Seems like Lex Cath has played a tougher schedule, that should help them for this game at Bell.

As another Bell Co. fan, I apologize as well. You have heard some of the less civil Bell Co. fans then, most of us have nothing but the utmost respect for coach larkey and the rockets, most of the time if Bell doesnt move on in the playoffs I support the rockets as the move on the through the playoffs. You should have tried the pulled pork sandwiches as well. As for the Bell-LC game...
