Woodson, Brohm plays for the enemy (UL the Overrated guys)

I simply don't know how you can say "Clearly" or "Hands down" one way or the other.

Everyone just says Brohm because that's all the media has hand-fed them for years. The reason Brohm will have higher stats than Woodson is because UofL plays in the "Big Easy" conference. If UofL played the same schedule that UK played everyone would see that Woodson is by far better. :)

There are certain intagibles that make a QB, along with athletic ability. Let's look at them:

Arm Strength - Andvantage Woodson (Slightly)

Accuracy - Brohm

Mobility - Brohm

Decision Making - Brohm

Feel for the game - Brohm

Body-Type - Even

Release - Brohm

Touch - Brohm

O-Line - Surprisngly Woodson

Honestly, this talk of who is better is borderline crazy. Andre Woodson is a good college QB, and I am glad he is a UK Wildcat. But Brohm is the cream of the crop, plain and simple.

The 'Cats got one, Woodson performed well, but its just two guys trying to help their team win and Woodson's team was better tonight.

Brohm more mobile than Woodson? Come on man. Brohm is the better QB no question.

I disagree with IPapi on at least 2 things... I believe UL has a better O-Line, and Woodson is easily more mobile... Brohm is a definition pocket passer, and while Woodson is certainly no scrambler, he IS more mobile... Nice job spotting that one HT.

I simply don't know how you can say "Clearly" or "Hands down" one way or the other.

Because look what Brohm has done in his career and look at Woodson.

Career Stats

Brian Brohm

541 of 815, 7.893 yards, 52 touchdowns, 13 INT.

Has won over 20 games at starting quaterback.

Won a BCS bowl game.

2-1 against Andre Woodson and Kentucky.

Andre Woodson

529 of 855, 6,394 yards, 48 touchdowns, 14 INT.

Has won less than 15 games at starting quaterback.

Not won a BCS game, not even been to one.

1-2 against Brian Brohm and Louisville.

Woodson has came a long way from the past years, but Brohm is still the better of the two, hands down for me. Brohm's defense is letting him down this year but U of L still should win more games than Kentucky and Woodson. Brohm will have the better stats of the two at seasons end, and will take U of L to a bigger and better bowl game than what Woodson will at UK.

Can we get the stats from just last season and so far this one? That would be more of a fair assessment. Brohm has been putting up numbers from the start, but AW has just come of age since last year.

Woodson:

329/514 (64%) - 4258 yards - 8.3 YPA - 40 TDs (1 every 12.85 attempts) - 7 INT (1 every 73.43 attempts)

Brohm:

268/416 (64.4%) - 4191 yards - 10.1 YPA - 27 TDs (1 every 15.41 attempts) - 6 INT (1 every 69.33 attempts)

Brohm clearly came to college the better QB and was head and shoulders better than Woodson.... With that said, I don't think Brohm has improved very much at college, Woodson on the other hand is finally reaching his potential and I can still see him improving under coach Sanders... I'll take Woodson...

I did it for you:

Andre Woodson 329-514 40TDs 7 Ints

Brian Brohm 267-416 27TDs 6 Ints

That evens it up a little more.

In 2004 Brohm played in 11 games, while Woodson played in just 7. But Woodson had one start that year, Brohm didn't. And Louisville got to a bowl game that year. In that year Brohm completed just 12 more passes than Woodson, and had 327 more yards and 4 more touchdowns than Woodson had.

In 2005 Brohm started 10 games, Woodson started all 11 for Kentucky. Brohm had 1,239 more yards and 13 more touchdowns. Woodson's rating was 115.4 while Brohm's was 166.7.

Brohm's not imporved very much in college?
