Even with everything good that Woodson did it still took an awful defensive play from Louisville to get him the win.

Woodson played well and took advantage of the opportunity.

Or was it a good offensive play?

Seriously dude, you're grasping at straws. You sound pretty similar to a lot of UK fans after they lose- trying to pin it on something rather than admitting the other team earned it.

UK earned the win but it was giftwrapped to them by lousy defense.

Who's fault was that terrible start? I believe it was Brian's for throwing the ball to the team in the other colored jersey.

You can try to make all the excuses you'd like, bottom line is come BCS title game, you'll still be watching a team not named UofL playing and you'll have the UK Wildcats to thank for that.

And maybe in a few years UK can actually have some accomplishments of their own (conference title, BCS win) rather then just taking pleasure in playing spoiler.

IMO, Brohm did absolutely nothing tonight to hurt his stock in the draft...Woodson played with alot of poise and stepped up in key spots of the game, so, he didnt hurt himself eiother, but I still stick by what the experts have been saying and thats that BB is the #1 QB prospect, and Woodsson still a nod behind, but, I also saw several other QBs play today that may be as good or better than both...

McShay, another draft 'expert', stated before the game that Woodson had become a slightly better pro prospect. But opinions are like Trans Am's in the early 1980's, ... everybody has one! I agree that both QB's looked solid tonight. But I have seen a few so called experts start to lean towards Woodson ever so slightly. However, .... I am just proud to have 2 KY kids get so much positive national press. It is well deserved.

And who's fault is that.... you better suck this one up and have a short memory... UL has some MAJOR problems resting ahead for them or they won't be in any of those 'big bowl' games you mentioned.

Wow, ... you really do hate UK don't you? I am surprised you spend so much time backhand slapping at UK fans when you have such a great team of your own to cheer for. You can't let UK fans have any joy without showing them the business side of your backhand.

Now I know what it's like for UL fans when UK fans just can't bring themselves to say- "Great game. You earned it." without putting conditions on it.

Given the opportunity most UK fans, could, would and have done the same thing. How many of them completely downplayed the Orange Bowl win last year? Go to any Louisville board for an answer.

Sleep it off and come back tomorrow.. that's all in the past and because of tonight I doubt UL will be back in that game cupcake or not.

Not most, ... some. You cannot lump all UK fans or even most as being exactly the same. That's profiling and profiling is wrong! :D

For the record, I have never been on a UL board. Never been to a strictly UK board either.

Im diehard UK, and think either QB would be a blessing to have on your team but in my honest opinion, BROHM is better still. I think if I remember right, it was his second pass of the game was a thing of beauty as he had a very small window to hit to get his reciever and sure enough he zipped the ball right in there with ease. Woodson is good but I think Brohm has a slight advantage.

Which is all the more reason that I am as ticked off as I am.

Still the point of my post was that Louisville HAS accomplished those things, Kentucky hasn't. I would rather cheer my favorite teams accomplishments then revel in what my favorite team prevented their rival from accomplishing.

True but.. UK is a basketball school. NOBODY will argue that. Hopefully, this game mixes up the recruiting in the commonwealth from here on out.

I rest my case and point to you as proof.
