In 2004 Brohm played in 11 games, while Woodson played in just 7. But Woodson had one start that year, Brohm didn't. And Louisville got to a bowl game that year. In that year Brohm completed just 12 more passes than Woodson, and had 327 more yards and 4 more touchdowns than Woodson had.

 

In 2005 Brohm started 10 games, Woodson started all 11 for Kentucky. Brohm had 1,239 more yards and 13 more touchdowns. Woodson's rating was 115.4 while Brohm's was 166.7.

 

And in 2006?

Before last nights game I would have picked Brohm in a heartbeat. After watching Brohm after getting "hit/stuck" a couple of times I chose Woodson. A person couldn't go wrong with either one but after Brohm got rattled, he was looking for the defenders instead of his recievers. Woodson stayed calm and focused and lead his team to a victory.

 

JMO and as I said - a person wouldn't be wrong no matter which one that they picked.

Brohm more mobile than Woodson? Come on man. Brohm is the better QB no question.

 

Neither of the two are mobile QBs, but from what I've seen Brohm at least throws better on the run.

 

And his decision making on when to run and when not to seems to be better.

In 2006 Brohm passed for over 300 yards 6 times, while Woodson did just 2 times.

 

Against the better teams Woodson didn't do to great. Against Louisville last year Woodson was 9 of 24 for 231 yards. Against Florida he was 26 of 37 for 210 yards. Against LSU, he was 14 of 37 for 151 yards. Brohm played big, in the big games. He was 19 of 26 for 354 yards and 1 TD against W.VA. He was 24 of 34 for 311 yards against Wake Forest in the Organe Bowl.

Brohm had 91 more yards than Woodson. Woodson didn't kill Brohm in the stats category or in the game.

All of you blowing smoke about Woodson and UK might want to wait until early December.

Tell me then what has Brohm improved on since he's been at UL?

Brohm will lose in this forum....but I still believe that as of right now..he is the better QB, down the road for Woodson to be better he will have to speed up his delivery, that really is his only flaw.
