What are Brohm's flaws???

Sometimes he gets a little Favre like, and will absolutely try to squeeze one in, which he does more often than not.....his mobility is not great, but is certainly enough...and he's about 2 inches short of ideal.

Brohm doesn't have Woodson's arm strengh. If he could have thrown the ball to the end zone Sat. nite, with the same outcome on the receiving end,UK would have lost the game.He can't throw the ball as far as Woodson can.Other than that he is a great qb at most parts of the game.

Brian's arm strength is more than adequate for the NFL....Hunter's arm is stronger, but Brian has a ton of zip on it....now the pass went 50 yards....but as the crow flies I would bet it was at least 55-60 yards...which is further than 98% of the throws he ever has to make.

His last throw went 55 yards in the air. But as has been referred to earlier, the pro scouts do not give much credence as to how far a quarterback can throw the football.

Brian Brohm has plenty of zip on the throws that matter!

Are you sure you guys watched the same game? Woodson looked REAL shaky the whole game.

He hit that guy that was 10 yards from anyone on the final play, I'llgive him that, but seriously, who misses that throw?

To answer your question: Brohm is clearly the better QB.

You probably still think Louisville is the better team too!!!! Ha Ha

Ram2003, how about this? If Brohm gets drafted before Andre (minus either player getting an injury), I'll sport a UL avatar from April's draft up to the football game in September. However, if Woodson gets drafted beofre Brian (again, minus an injury), than you sport a UK avatar during the same period.

Deal?

Oooh, making things a bit interesting, always fun.

Sounds like a plan.:dancingpa :fight:  :fight: :dancingpa

Injury is the big question with Brohm. He has missed a lot of games due to injuries. If I were a scout, I would have serious doubts about his ability to make it through an NFL season, when he doesn't seem to be able to make it through a college season. If he gets hurt again this year I don't see how he could go in the first round.

Am I the only person out there that believes neither one of them will be good in the NFL?

I think they will both be decent NFL QB's but I think Woodson will have a better showing.

Obviously, to an extent, I agree with you. I think having had fairly major injuries in '05 and '06, combined with less than proto-typical size, both work against him for the next level. That being said, his football IQ is off the charts, so I certiainly don't think he'll slip out of the 1st round.

I don't know if you're the only one, but you're the only one I've ever heard say that. All of the "experts" would disagree; for what little that is worth.

I can see him dropping similar to Leinart and Quinn...depending on how he does in his workouts. But, if scouts work him out and his arm strength and mobility fails to impress, his stock will drop.

Similar to Russell and Quinn...before the season, who had Russell ahead of Quinn...who even projected Russell as a first rounder, much less #1 overall. Same with Leinart...who would have thought Vince Young would go ahead of him going into that season...

...another reason why guys should go when their stock is high. Coming back for another season rarely helps. I'm not saying Brohm made the wrong decision, because if he wanted to come back and play because he enjoyed college, then that's great. He's going to be drafted, more than likely in round 1 regardless. I just think his stock could drop.

You might be correct, but if neither of these highly touted quarterbacks are successful in the NFL, then which quarterbacks in this class will be more successful?

Definitely have to agree with you there.
