If this is true, what does it say about your head coach? Seems that any head coach should know who the better player is and would play the one that will help the team.. Sounds as if you just revealed some major flaws in the program at U of L if what you stated holds water.

Where did ever say that Cantwell was better than Brohm? He only said that it was questioned whether or not Brohm should regain the starting spot. By his line of thinking he has said nothing illogical. If he thinks that Brohm is clearly better than Woodson then by that logic he could think that Cantwell could possibly be better than Woodson.

I know he was injured each of the last 2 seasons. I believe he has missed 5 games during that span. I would have to double check to be sure. But 5 out of 26 in a two year period is almost 20% of their games.

Don't get me wrong. I like Brohm. I wish him nothing but the best and hope he has a great year.

If he makes it through this season injury free then the past will be forgotten.

If he gets hurt again this year, I think NFL teams will question his durability. I know I would be leary of putting millions of dollars into someone who was hurt 3 years in a row and missed 20% of their college games due to injury.

I believe he has missed 4 games but I could be wrong. I agree with you that if he gets hurt again that it will raise some serious questions in the NFL. But if not, I don't think the past injuries will affect him at all. He rebounded exceptionally well from the knee injury and the thumb thing was just a freak occurrence. I don't recall him ever missing any high school games either and missing 4 out of 39(10%) in college isn't too bad if he stays healthy.

Ummm... I never said that I thought Hunter was better than Brian. SOME did, but I think most wouldn't agree with that assesment. But they aren't THAT far apart, IMO.

But as far as Coach K goes... I just don't know what to think of him yet.

And I never said that you made that comment either. You are the one that commented that people questioned whether Brohm should start and that Cantwell was as you say "the man". I only pointed out your statement and If the people you refer to who question who should have been the starter are on the staff, then my question was legit?

Should this be the case then he could be wrong in both assesments. :p

ESPN thinks Brohm's Heisman chances have taken a major hit:

Right now I certainly agree with the top three that the article listed. I may move Tebow into the 2nd position and add give Slaton a little more up side. Imo McFadden is no doubt the best football player in the entire group.

That entire page couldn't be anymore inconsistent.

Care to explain?

There is just too many different people with their input. And the main part is a new writer each week so that's all about personal choice. Like this week, Reynolds drops Brohm out of the top 5 and the only thing said is that he isn't why they lost but they are dropped from national title contention, yet he has an Arkansas and Hawaii player in the top 5. Then to the right they have Brohm as going up in the rankings and then on the bottom they dropped Brohm in the writers poll. Not to mention they have Booty at 11th. I'm not disputing where I think Brohm should be ranked but that page just isn't on the same page if you get what I'm saying.

Brohm is better imo but Woodson isint far behind.

 I'm feeling a little too lazy tonight.

Too early to tell about McCoy and Tebow. They're true sophmores and thus ineligible for the draft after this year. Chase Daniel is a junior and isn't expected to come out.

I am pretty sure McCoy was reshirted his Freshman year; thus, making him eligible. Still not ready, but eligible.
