Brohm is the better QB... He is really like a machine. That is nothing against Woodson, because he is great as well... But as cliche a phrase as it is, Brohm plays like he has ice water in his veins. Nothing ever really seems to phase him. Yes, Woodson won this head to head matchup, but Brohm has won every one before this even going back to high school, so that question in the initial post is clearly showing a bias.

As far as trying to discredit the win, every game is won or lost because of mistakes. Louisville was able to recover from their 2 early mistakes to make this a very competitive affair. Kentucky was able to recover from their late mistakes to win the game, when I personally was beginning to give up hope. The defensive coverage on the Tamme touchdown pass was great, he just brought down a heck of a catch... If he doesn't bring that one in, UK loses.... Everything doesn't always come down to the blown coverage in the final minute of the game on Johnson's second TD. Louisville's defense played bad, yes... But Kentucky's offense also played good. Saying most UK fans would act the same way if they were in this position doesn't make the behavior any more acceptable.

Very well said Hangman.:thumb:

I'd also like to add that I believe Woodson will be the better pro QB, due to the fact that he is able to move around much better than Brohm, and it also seems his arm is slightly stronger. Both IMO will be successful QBs on Sundays for quite awhile.

How far can Brohm throw a football? On that last play I noticed he had a running head start and only launched it about 50 yards down field, 10 yards short of the endzone. I thought he had a cannon arm but I have never really seen him air it out like that. 50 yards in the NFL is very average.

And that makes him a better QB? Was Rex Grossman the best QB in the AFC last year? They had the best record?

Rex Grossman didn't have much of a chance at being the best QB in the AFC...:D

Kentucky won this game as a team. I could not be more proud of the Kentucky Wildcats...

Brohm is good, he has the talent around him to make him stand out.

Woodson is also very good himself, I'd say Woodson pushes himself the most out of the two.

i'm taking Woodson.

You can't go wrong with either..

Woodson is now the KING of KY

Tell me he's kidding....

Rex Grossman didn't have much of a chance at being the best QB in the AFC...:D

Yeah, pretty sure the Bears are in the NFC.:sssh:

Woodson over Brohm anyday.

I think his play tonight proved who is more valuable.

GO CATS GO!!!!!!

It's hands down, Brohm.

And yes, this is coming from a die-hard Cats fan.

There are certain intagibles that make a QB, along with athletic ability. Let's look at them:

Arm Strength - Andvantage Woodson (Slightly)

Accuracy - Brohm

Mobility - Brohm

Decision Making - Brohm

Feel for the game - Brohm

Body-Type - Even

Release - Brohm

Touch - Brohm

O-Line - Surprisngly Woodson

Honestly, this talk of who is better is borderline crazy. Andre Woodson is a good college QB, and I am glad he is a UK Wildcat. But Brohm is the cream of the crop, plain and simple.

The 'Cats got one, Woodson performed well, but its just two guys trying to help their team win and Woodson's team was better tonight.

Woodson because I flipped a coin and it chose him. But really its like choosing between Jessica Alba and Jessica Beil can you really go wrong?

You can judge these guys soley based off this game, but Woodson undoubtedly looked better.

People are talking about Woodson looking nervous, but who threw a pick on their first throw? Who missed open receivers all night long?

Woodson is starting to get lots of love from the experts. I think whoever has the better last few games will be the #1 QB pick in the draft.
