Matt Denman from John Hardin has all the intangibles

Sir Weakley at Ballard is tough...I hear he has really been working hard in the weight room.

Grimm and Roskopf (sp) are probably the best, kids in lex Lville have flat fields to play on, in eastern kentucky they have to run up hill both ways.

:D :D

Daniel Rose of Carroll County has great speed and tremendous power. He has hit the weight room hard from what I have heard and has gotten faster. hopefully going to see some big things out of him and the Panthers.

I for one think Josh Conner will have statewide numbers in 07

Would be GREAT if he does! But he has to get the "touches"...Hurtt, Crawford, and some kid named Cecil will get their share also. But JC does have the ability to have a 6 touch - 4 TD - 200 yd game !

Who is the leading rushers that are returning, based on just last years results?

From the Mountains...

Dustin May - Belfry

T.R. Chistopher - Bell Co.

Spencer Greer - Bell Co.

T.J. Green - Cawood

Josh Sanders - Corbin

Nathaniel Gilliam - Cumberland

Shawn Grim - Johnson Central

Joe Roskopf - Lynn Camp

Daniel Harmon - Pikeville

Seth Setzer - Prestonsburg

Adam Dials - Shledon Clark

Ryan Kelly - Sheldon Clark

Superman is dro..... that's how the kids would say it... I think?!

You don't have to have a ton of touches to be successful. For example Justin Frisk in 96 for Highlands. We figured it out one night sitting around and we decided that Justin only played 45 of the 60 qaurters his senior year. He had unbelievable numbers with a very good per carry average. Point is, Josh doesn't need and won't need a ton of touches to be successful the next couple of years.

Dalton Cissell, North Bullitt, was #3 in state last year with 194.8 yds per game and 5th in yds rushing with 2,143. Will be a junior this year.

AGREED!...but Justin Frisk was Justin FREAK! He was the perfect combination of strength, speed, quickness, and NASTY!! We can only hope JC will be close to the back that Frisk was!

I think he has the tools, and is playing in the right system. Lets just see if Josh has the will to work as hard as Justin did. I don't care what anybody says, Justin could take over a ballgame anytime he wanted. Just ask Bell County!!!!!

Shawn Grimm of JC will be a solid RB again this year. He demonstrated against every team that JC played he was capable of breaking any play long. Last year as a junior he rushed for 2600 yds. Those numbers may be hard to duplicate, but I suspect he will be close.
