Top RB's this year in '07

In case you missed it, I did respond to your post earlier. I didn't take what you were saying to be sarcastic, but to rehash.

Grimm's toughets opponent last year was probably CovCath in the state semi's, he ran for over 200 yards in defeat.

He also had a huge game against Rockcastle County in the playoffs.

He played against Ashland twice, the first time he tore them apart and in the playoffs it was one of his lwoer rushing totals although he still came up with the play of the game that gave them the victory.

He also performed huge against a pretty good Mason County team.

Thanks EKU. Sounds like he's put up impressive stats against everyone.

In unbelievable field conditions at that. It was astonishing that anyone could even run in a straight line without falling on that field.

I have no problem calling a spade a spade, and although I respect their program, I am not a Johnson Central fan. Given this, I say without hesitation that in my opinion he is the best running back in the state this season and should merit consideration for Mr. Football. Johnson Central has increased their SOS this year as well, so this will give a good indication as to how good he is.

His stats last season per khsaa:

276 carries, 2684 yards, 37 TD

I'm not about to call him the best but he is worth mentioning. Braydon Millls a junior is entering his 3rd year of starting. He now knows the playbook well and finally put on a little bit of weight for running between the tackles. He'll also actually have a line this year instead ofrunning for his life every play. This being said Braydon should be in the top ten in rushing.

Also worth mentioning is Jarrett Rouse, the QB at Ludlow. He is not a running back but, He has speed agility and great vision. Once he's passed the LB's he is gone. He has also mastered the Reggie Bush dive. Jarrett has great ability and will definately be in the top 5 rushers on NKY next season.

Top 5 is a bit of a stretch from the QB position dont you think?? I'd say top 10 at best.

Apparently you haven't seen Mr. Rouse run the ball. Also how many yards he earns rushing just for saving his own life while his line is trying to learn to pass block lol. Even though that line should be MUCH improved this year.

Valid point but lets hope he doesnt have to do much, "running for his life" this season.

I think for once Rockcastle isn't in this discussion, but Mize will still have a great season.

For this topic and of the teams I have seen, Grimm is going to be huge this year. He will probably have 2500+ yards and 20+ TD's.

The Bell County Brickwall will be blocking for two explosive backs: Christopher and Greer

Watch the rushing yards climb on Cory Farris this year. Going into his senior year he is tied with a former Rebel's career rushing record. (Shawn Alexander) All Coach Thompson has to do is find a way for Cory to gain more than 3,000 yards during Cory's senior year! Cory is an outstanding athlete that will have a difficult decision to make at the end of his senior year, Baseball or Football.:ylsuper:

Actually, Farris is 500 yards ahead of Alexanders pace going into his senior year. Farris will need a 2,500 yards season to beat the record. The only way this will be possible is if Boone can get two or three games into the playoffs. We'll have to see what happens, could be really close. And I am almost possitive Farris has already commited to the University of Kentucky for baseball.

Buckley from CCH will be hard to catch
