Yeah, I saw that too. He said he's angry at how much he continues to put the families through.

It would be interesting to see a judge force Mr. Ruby to provide a legal reason for not serving OJ. Even if you own a resturant as your private property, you can't decide to not legally serve someone without reason (clothing, loitering, ect.) Court cases have ruled this way agianst hotel and resturant owners who discriminated based on race. Now I don't belive that Mr. Ruby discriminated agianst OJ based on race, but I do believe that he needs a legal reason to not allow him in the resturant. OJ's celebrety status may have an effect on a potential lawsuit, but he may have justification to do so, just to get a legal explination in court.

 

Hearsay, I'm sure could give us a good explination.

Look, I havent read all of the posts but I am going to say this..... If you think O.J didnt butcher those two innocent people than you are a complete fool. You can play the "he was found innocent" all you want. He is a murderer who got off and everyone knows it and he threw it in the face of those families by writing that garbage last year. Ruby did a good thing and I applaud him for that. If I ever ran into O.J I would probably spit on him.

When he refuses service to EVERY person that walks in his doors that have been on trial and found not guilty, I will back him...Until then, I wont eat in his restaurant again.

C-A-T-S, TheDeuce and anyone else that thinks since he was found not guilty he should have been served, or that if he turns away everyone that walks in his doors that have been on trial and found not guilty, you need to understand something here. It was his book that he wrote that really was Ruby's reason for not serving him, and of that, OJ is guilty. So again, I too applaud Jeff Ruby.

This is what I think his thought process was.

 

"I really don't like what he's done. I should refuse to serve him and prove my point."

 

"Ya know, I should do it for the Goldman's."

 

"I can't do that, I could get bad publicity."

 

"I'LL GET PUBLICITY! SEE YA JUICE!"

 

I believe he had good personal intentions and realized he'd also have good business implications.

I don't know if you've ever been to one of Ruby's restaurants.

 

He's not hurtin for business.........at all.
