I think, yes. He's not hurting for business and he is a "horse of a different color", he speaks his mind. At least that's been my experience around him.

 

BTW, his restaurants are excellent. :thumb:

So he's a good and savvy businessman, I'd run with it too. What's wrong with that? Some of you act as if he planned the whole thing out.

If I thought for a second that Jeff Ruby did this for reasons anywhere close to being the "right reasons" I'd stand up and applaud.

 

Unfortunately, his reputation precedes him and I'm left (like many others) to take this decision with a gigantic grain of salt.

On a side note, the two best steaks I have ever had have been at Jeff Ruby steakhouses and I will go back.

 

I also agree he does a very poor interview. I think he has trouble processing his thoughts. Maybe this was already covered but didn't he fall out of a car and hit his head back in the 80s?
