April 7, 200719 yr Its no secret that Jai and his father like Billy G. Some are pretty confident that Gillispie will be able to lock down Lucas. Patterson is another story tho. But sounds like things are looking good in regards to Jai tho.

If he can get Lucas or Patterson or lure the Jordan kid away from A&M I think people will be very happy with him.

Some people around the Texas area believe that Billy G will land Lucas based on talks with his father before when Tubby was there and then based on how much they like Gillispie. As far as Jordan, it is prolly going to take a not so good hire at A&M to get him to switch.

April 8, 200719 yr WLAP just reported that Gillispie has contacted three high school coaches, also made contact with Pettigrew and Lucas. He said that he and Lucas had a really good conversation and that next week he would be talking to C Anthony McClain.
