I get what you are saying about Bowling Green not having a typical Bowling Green Season. But the teams that beat Bowling Green this season have a combined record of 81-9.  All of them except for Scott

  • Too many people are picking the A train, Scram!!

  • Nothing like seeing new teams rise up in Kentucky high school football.

Pulaski has rushed for 2700+ yards on the season and Atherton has allowed 201 on the season.  Pulaski has only passed for about 300 yards since losing their starting QB.  If Pulaski cannot run the ball, it could be a long night.  If they can, I think it goes down to the wire.

Good info. I did not know Pulaski lost their QB. Those stats since losing him shift my thinking. I was leaning Pulaski County but now lean Atherton.

A lot of weight will fall on the shoulders of Pulaski's offensive line. Even with a healthy Zak Anderson, the Maroons would have their hands full moving the ball through the air against one of the state's elite secondaries.

Their safest path to victory is Brock moving the chains behind Brady Hull and Co. That unit has to go to work.

Even then, Pulaski's defense has to keep Atherton under 21 points, imo. I can't see the Maroons winning a shootout. It has to be an old fashioned rock fight.

Are there any other semifinals that have this wide of gap of expectations for what will happen?

I would probably doublecheck the predictions for this game with the contest thread. ?

The Scoreboard says 7 and the broadcast starts at 615 so I am thinking 7.

Let me whip this out right now….this is the best rushing offense Atherton has seen since Manual and maybe better than Manual.  Pulaski took down Corbin who did a really good job against HIghlands…

Atherton has achieved a running clock in 8 of their matchups this season including all three playoff games so far. They began the year holding Boyle County scoreless and knocked off every county team that said they’d take the Ravens down, including a running clock on North Oldham in the KSR game of the week.

No brakes on the A Train.

By the way, they didn't score against Boyle County either in that early controlled scrimmage.
