Great season for Atherton!

Pulaski came out and dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I heard all week that Pulaski was going to line up in heavy sets and try to control the game and time of possession and that was what set the tone for the game. Pulaski found it's defensive identity in the second half of the Bell Co game and they have been a different unit ever since, aggressive and I love it. Congrats Maroons and good luck next weekend!

I get what you are saying about Bowling Green not having a typical Bowling Green Season. But the teams that beat Bowling Green this season have a combined record of 81-9.  All of them except for Scott

  • Too many people are picking the A train, Scram!!

  • Nothing like seeing new teams rise up in Kentucky high school football.

Yes, but Atherton probably had five delay of game penalties and another five illegal shifts, procedures, etc. Pulaski defense dominated, but Atherton put themselves way behind the stick all night, which made it much easier for the Maroons.

Did somebody mention something about Coaching ???

Atherton finishes with 65 yards of total offense and 6 first downs per the Courier Journal.  Pulaski around 260.

Go Maroons! Really surprised at the offensive output from Atherton.

Good luck next weekend!

Great job Pulaski. RPI treated them great and they have put a great run together.

Bowling Green was simply not a very good football team this year. Using them as a barometer may not yield you much of a conclusion on how good a team is.

A lot of teams have used Bowling Green as a measuring stick this year…definitely a down year for the purples.
