I get what you are saying about Bowling Green not having a typical Bowling Green Season. But the teams that beat Bowling Green this season have a combined record of 81-9.  All of them except for Scott

  • Too many people are picking the A train, Scram!!

  • Nothing like seeing new teams rise up in Kentucky high school football.

Congrats to  PC.

Not surprised.

Unlike many on here never sold on the Atherton Coaching Staff.

Atherton has nothing to hang their heads about, great season. Pulaski County is also very good and they showed it tonight. Congratulations to Pulaski on advancing to the state championship.

Pulaski’s defense that good? The Ravens looked unstoppable against BG.

Bowling Green was simply not a very good football team this year. Using them as a barometer may not yield you much of a conclusion on how good a team is.

The best defense we played all year honestly.

I'm surprised that Atherton couldn't get on the board. What a great season. I know it wasn't the outcome they were hoping for, but I think this program could be the breath of fresh air Louisville needs.

Idk wouldn’t say they weren’t good just very inconsistent. Played CAL with in 2 scores but only beat GW by 3. BG probably just under estimated the Ravens.

They did beat Corbin which is huge. But I’m hung up on the 35-0 beat down they received from South Warren.

Disagree there, BG too experienced to use that as an excuse. Plus takes away credit from Atherton. One thing I know forsure is that the Ravens were much better than Bowling Green last week.

This was the third team in the last 25 years in BG to have a losing record I believe. Do with that information what you will.

The offensive staff and scheme is just a different level at South Warren tbh. They really do a tremendous job over there. Atherton has faster athletes but South Warren is a lot better up front than Atherton.

Not saying Owensboro's lines are anything like South Warrens but they are similar in talent and speed. O’s offense might be a bit more electric. But I’d give South Warren the edge on defense.

I saw the scrimmage film between O and SW so I get what you’re saying. South was a lot more polished early on in the season. I haven’t seen O since the St. X game but they have clearly continued to develop over the season which is most important.

Yes, but Atherton probably had five delay of game penalties and another five illegal shifts, procedures, etc. Pulaski defense dominated, but Atherton put themselves way behind the stick all night, which made it much easier for the Maroons.

Still surprised that through out 48min of football Atherton wasn’t able to break 1 or 2 big ones for TD’s. that's a real testament to how good Pulaski’s defense really is. Should be a good one next week.
