havent heard much about them... hear there a talented team, QB, TE, and RB are supposed to be talkin to ohio state but who knows how true it is... but also hear there not disciplined.... all i know

I think you need to do a little bit of homework. They have some top notch players who are ranked nationally. This will be a monumental challenge for the Birds.

Some little school, a little north of Ft. Thomas. ;) ;)

just a school in the hills of dayton. Out in the corn fields.

LOL.. and they are not talking to Ohio State, they are going to Michigan, Penn State, Cincinnati, Nebraska, and Purdue, for the ones who have decided. There are 6 more with offers, who have not committed yet.

This will be a monumental test for the Rams, I know Highlands will be well prepared, and will certainly be ripped up for the game, knowing that they can knock off the team will all the D-1 kids. I am sure their coaches will play that up to them, about David vs Goliath........etc.... I dont see it that way, Highlands has a TON of tradition and success. I look for a good game, and hope that the Rams can just keep up.

Rams have a couple of new players move in for the upcoming year. Who have decided to come out for the football team.

LB Doug Rippy - University of Nebraska Commit

DB Norman Young who had no offers, then after 1 week with the Trotwood team now has 5 from Toledo, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Ball State.

I doubt it.

What is Trotwood's record the last few year's with all these D-I kids in the program? How have they fared in the playoffs?

Im going to have to check out this game then so I can get a look at Rippy. It would be nice if he could convice Shaw to come with him.

I doubt it.

FYI: They have been getting the move in kids for only last year and this year.

Plus there has been a change going into last season and this one on the coaching staff as well. there has been an overhaul and clearing out the dead weight. There has been several new additions, and Coach Douglass is getting the best coaches out there to teach the new systems on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.

There are only 5 coaches left that were there 2 yrs ago. And one of those was not on staff last season, after some personal issues.

They have added, OC, DC, Sp Teams Coord, DL, DL, LB, RB, QB, TE either before last season or right after the season was over. Only the WR, OL, DB, DB coaches remain. And if you look at the lost of college players most were DB's, and WR's.

You know the situation and the program well. Do you mind if I ask if you are one of the coaches?

I doubt it.

Make it stop. It seems like every time I turn around, Trotwood has another "MAJOR" D1 player either transferring in or moving in.:scared: This will be a huge challenge for HHS. Hey Ram, where does Trotwood see themselves ranked pre-season with all this talent? Can't wait for this game because I would like to see how close HHS can keep it. Like to see if they are as good as Colerain was two years ago. That was the best Ohio team that I have seen play.

So it seems that if you need some D1 exposure just go to Trotwood. How do you go from no offers to 5 in one week, that is just simply amazing. I guess the college scouts just hang out at Trotwood all year long.

It helps when your head coach played for the Chicago Bears, volunteers at NIKE camps all over the country and is close personal friends with dozens of college coaches some of whom you played with. Lets just say coach Douglas knows how to help his kids get noticed. Its still up to the player to perform and get offers.

Trotwood is stacked this year. Should be a preseason top 10 National pick.

Lets just see if coach Douglas can keep his D1 stacked team together this year. It will be extremely hard to keep everybody happy. They will suffer some problems this year, you can almost bet on it!!!!! Maybe it will happen sooner than late for Highlands sake.:D

Boom where did you get the avatar??? Pretty cool ............might have to steal it.
