Final. Houston never even got a shot off! A tough loss not as tough as 1983 but close.

Oh well. This will pass. But man that makes me unhappy.

Congrats to Florida, loved the tournament this year and the whole season was great!

Maybe they should have held it a little longer before attempting to run a play. That always works.

The misses was ready to hit purchase on eBay, Etsy, and Amazon with my winnings but it was not to be. lol

IT JUST MEANS MORE ?

Houston doesn’t get a shot off to end the game and Florida led by a minute probably over the whole game. Tough break for the Cougars.

Props to the Gators!  I thought Houston would win, but it seems that they’re snakebite in these games.

Gator bit!

Clayton Jr. had about as clutch of a stretch as you will see in college. Even in his struggles this game he made several big plays including the last defensive stand to ice the game.

What a great comeback by Florida! Also shows again that taking a timeout  to draw up the last shot isn’t guaranteed to be better than just playing it out. Houston took a timeout to try to go for the win, and couldn’t even get a shot off. It would been interesting to see how it played out, if Florida didn’t get a chance to set up its defense for the last play.

Just a horrific final possession for Houston.

I had a pretty good feeling at half that Florida was going to win because they got nothing from Clayton and we’re still completely in it.

It definitely was an ugly possession to end for Houston.

You definitely knew a run was in them with how they’ve responded most games this tournament.

One thing about these overly-experienced teams, they don’t get rattled.

Houston and its fan base has to truly feel doomed with winning a national championship, even more so now.
