It definitely was an ugly possession to end for Houston.

I was pretty sure they were going to shoot a three even if they had to force it, and seems like Florida knew that too.

The best team won the whole thing.  Really good Final Four too.

  • I try not to give officials a hard time, but there’s ZERO justification for the difference in how the two halves were called. Just unacceptable inconsistency. Neither team benefited more than the othe

The misses was ready to hit purchase on eBay, Etsy, and Amazon with my winnings but it was not to be. lol

That last possession was my fault. I'd just said to my wife, "I hope they at least get a shot off and don't turn it over, I want to see a shot to win it or lose it." 10 seconds later that mess happened. My bad, I jinxed it. ?

Houston needed to have that game put away a lot sooner. When it was a 12 point lead they just immediately let them get right back in.

That makes Houston’s third title game loss. Has any team ever made title game more without winning one?

Does Todd Golden shave.  Looks like he is 15.

IT JUST MEANS MORE !!!!!

Houston was in the bonus three minutes into the half. Florida was called for four fouls rest of the game and one of those was a technical.

Houston was called for 16. One of those was the foul at the end when they had to.

16-4. That’s a draw your own conclusions stat but wow.

I think it broke a tie. Three teams have lost twice without a win: Dartmouth in 1942 and 1944, Memphis in 1973 and 2008, and Gonzaga in 2017 and 2021.

Really fun game….

2 great teams

The last title winner I didn’t dislike was Baylor in 2021. These have not been a fun four years for this hater.

So Houston choked, right?

Were they up six with 30 seconds to go and possession?

I love the honesty!

Florida shot 2 FT's the first half and 19 in the 2nd half. I think the game was fair both ways overall but I think the flow was hampered by the way the game was officiated in the 2nd half compared to the first half.
