Houston 70 Duke 67 (NCAA Final 4)

Featured Replies

Final. It was pretty either way but you win and move on and that is what Houston accomplished. They will take on Florida on Monday for the National Championship. A total collapse by Duke.

All time choke job by Duke.  Houston refused to give up though.  I thought when they were called for the technical that they were finished.

I don't think you all are giving Houston the credit they deserve. Their defense was unbelievable. There was no Duke choking or collapse. Houston won that game. They earned it. Duke didn't dribble ball

Sure, Houston deserves the credit for winning but what did they do to get down 14 points with 9 remaining and down 9 with 3 remaining? Would certainly have to be considered a total collapse by Duke fo

I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED for Kelvin Sampson and Houston!

What a win for Houston! They were down 15, right?

Whatt a melt down by the Dukes.

Even when Duke had bigger leads a couple times they couldn’t put Houston away. As much as no one may think it, Duke played out of their element most of the first half until their run before Houston hit their threes to end the half.

And Flagg looked like a deer in the headlights from the time he was called for the foul and to finish at the end. Huge win for Houston. This is very close, if not the biggest upset in tournament history between two #1 seeds playing.

Duke had a season in the weak ACC where the had 1 game in league play that was less than 6 points and they lost it. This season they had 4 games decided by 6 points or less and lost 3 of those 4 and it showed tonight down the stretch.

In those 4 games their 1 win was a 6-point win over Auburn at home. There 3 losses were too Kentucky, Kansas (on neutral courts) and Clemson at Clemson.

Duke one made FG (a Flagg 3) in last 10 minutes...amazing!

14 points. It was a Houston 11-1 run the last 1:14 to play. Also, Duke only made 1 FG the last 10:38 of the game. Then on top of that Duke was outscored 9-0 in the last :35 seconds of the game.

All time choke job by Duke.  Houston refused to give up though.  I thought when they were called for the technical that they were finished.

I was right there with ya. At that moment, I prepared myself for a Duke national championship.

Combination of Duke got comfortable and Houston upped the defense.
