One more experienced guard, hopefully a shooting guard capable of handling the ball, and this roster has championship potential. Tons of pieces and options to exploit virtually any matchup opportunities.

I'll get a kick out of this next March when people complain about how boring a chalk tourney is.  Just remember, all of our favorite Power Conference Schools pilfered any talent that might lead to act

That should help with the physicality of next years team.

One of the top point guards in the transfer portal, Xaivian Lee, has committed to Florida.

The Princeton transfer averaged 16.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists last season and was first-team All-Ivy League. The Canada native was the first player in school history to record a triple double, notching 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a win over St. Joseph's.

He was reportedly involved with Duke, St. Johns, Kansas, and Kentucky. The guard traveled to Gainesville this week to visit with Florida.

Kentucky was out of the running awhile ago, and not much ever started there. As he quickly narrowed it down to St. Johns and Florida, before eventually choosing Florida. I would have loved to have had him though, especially after our incoming freshman pg backed out.

UK most likely just finished their roster for this season, unless Oweh leaves for the draft. UK just added Florida Guard Denzel Aberdeen. He will be entering his 4th season in college, averaged 7 points per game last year for the Gators, and shot 35% from three. So not really a big name to finish out the roster, but seems like a solid pickup and also helps make UK more athletic. There are still a few others I would have preferred over him, but hopefully this ends up a great pickup.

I think he will be a hugely successful pick up as he was waiting his time to get starter playing time.

I hope you are right, and it did seem like based off twitter at least. That many Florida fans were upset that he left, and Florida didn't try to match UK in terms of money.

On Tuesday, On3 insider Joe Tipton revealed that Arkansas point guard Boogie Fland has announced he will be entering the transfer portal. Interesting

With a "do not contact" tag as well.

Smart move on his part. His goal is the NBA draft still this year. However, if for some reason he doesn’t like what he is hearing about where he will be drafted. He can shop around for a big NIL deal instead, and also force Arkansas to pay even more if they wanted to keep him if he doesn’t go in the draft.

I doubt it would happen, but it would be amazing if he ended up here at UK somehow. I know he won me over by he came back at the end of the season to try to help his team in the tournament, after he was supposed to be done for the year. We had seen others that would have not have risked their NBA career or stock by coming back. However, he showed great toughness and character by coming back. The type of guy I would love on this UK team.

Kentucky freshman Travis Perry has entered the transfer portal.

Yeah, I read that last night. It's unfortunate, but right now, Perry looks to be near the very bottom, if not the bottom for playing time next season.

Louisville's James Scott has also entered.

"While college basketball's 30-day transfer portal window shut on Apr. 22, players had until 11:59 p.m. to simply communicate their intention to enter the portal. The resulting paperwork on the school's behalf sometimes takes 1-2 days to get filed, hence why Scott's official entry into the portal did not come until after the deadline had passed."

SK grad Gabe Dynes who transferred to USC is now 7'5.
