Hendrickson would be gone for next to nothing, but can’t see anybody taking on that salary load while unable to contribute.  Timing!  Ugh!

I beat the trade Hendrickson drums early in the year.  Higgins too.  In my mind, they both were going to end up hurt and here we are...

Lou is a good coach and will land somewhere.  But I agree with him being let go.  The defense was consistently mediocre with flashes of really good play.  That side of the ball here needs a new voice.

Wow. So shocking to hear you say that! ?

Many teams are calling the Bengals about Hendrickson. However, no team wants to give the Bengals their asking price of a 1st round pick. I do think the Bengals could get a 2nd round pick though, and they should take it if a team offers that.

Oh, my, a 2nd round pick for a 1/2 season rental and still $16-17 million salary load and he’s hurt.  Lucky if we get a 6 or 7th.  Isn’t he’s free agent at end of this season?

Bengals just missed out on Sauce Garnder lol. Lou got him!

We don't need any toys, we are playing for 2026.

Should have been done months ago.  My hindsight glasses are often quite perceptive.

Did you see what the Colts gave up for him? Two first round picks? No one "missed out" if that is the price.

The picks are aren’t problem for the Bengals.  Doubtful the Bengals hit on one out of two of those picks anyway.  For the Bengals it’s a lack of imagination and creativity, as usual.  Lack of doing different and looking for new/better ways.  Lock down corner to go with DJ Turner.  That’s how it begins — fortify one spot on defense, then look for incremental improvements at other defensive positions.  Honestly, I am not sure how the Sauce contract (4-yr $120M) would fit with the payroll, but I love the deal for him and the Colts.  Not saying that signing Sauce is right for the Bengals, but it’s just frustrating seeing how this organization builds a team when you can look around the NFL and all the major sports to see how others do it year in and year out more successfully.

I think they should ask for a 3rd and 4th. If they get a second, that is a heck of a deal and they should jump on it just to dump the salary. I would be thrilled if they were able to get another 3rd and 4th. The problem is, they will draft two guys that won't work out just like a numerous amount of their recent picks.

I was listening to 1530AM yesterday and they were talking about a LB that they Bengals passed on in the 2nd round to take Knight and that rookie has graded out as one of the top 5 defensive players in all of football this season. I wish I could remember his name. But, the scouting department is definitely struggling with their evaluations right now.

With how Phillips from the Dolphins got a 3rd round pick, Williams from the Jets get a 1st and a 2nd rounder and players back. There is zero reason the Bengals should take anything less than a 2nd rounder for Hendrickson IMO. As these trades, should actually help the Bengals to get more, and possibly a 2nd and a 3rd. They probably just have to come off of the having to get a 1st rounder stance they currently are in. Which who knows these trades today, maybe give them an outside shot that a team will get desperate at the last minute and give them what they want.

That is an INSANE price for Sauce. Not to mention, they are banking on Daniel Jones to deliver the goods. Good luck (I am rooting for him)!

I agree, no way at that price.
