Lou is a good coach and will land somewhere.  But I agree with him being let go.  The defense was consistently mediocre with flashes of really good play.  That side of the ball here needs a new voice.

Wow. So shocking to hear you say that! ?

Other than not knowing how to be a professional, having run ins with the police and continuing to get suspended?

Hadn’t heard anything lately other than camp comments he didn’t know the offense.  When you have a staff of only 4 evaluating personnel what we can expect other than more whiffs than hits?

He was just suspended for yesterday's game. He was apparently evicted from his previous residence due to numerous issues. Good chance Burton is in jail within the next few years. Hopefully someone can get him on track, but I doubt it.

I hope the Steelers pick him up and teach him the Steelers way!

Like the Cowboys did with George Pickens!

Talent was never the question, as he was a first round talent. Every team eventually takes chances on players like this, and sometimes it pays off and sometimes it backfires. The Bengals did the same thing with Mixon, that one paid off. This one definitely backfired.

Which apparently he also kept missing and being late to meetings too.

Burrow will demand a trade after the season.

It is sort of looking that way.  When asked about his latest injury and how he views the game:

"It certainly doesn’t change my desire to win. If I wanna keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it," he said. "I’ve been through a lot and if it’s not fun, what am I doing it for? So, that’s the mindset I’m trying to bring to the table."

"I’m not sure there was a singular moment or time," he said. "It’s reflection on a lot of things that I’ve done and been through in my career. I think I’ve been through more than most and it’s certainly not easy on the brain or the body. So, just trying to have fun doing it again."

I was watching some talking heads all agree this is the beginning of the end for Joe Burrow in Cincinnati.

It would be an absolute nightmare for me.
