What's missing from that bio and is most relevant to our discussion here is what happened with the athletics at his previous posts?

Those who think academic excellence and athletic excellence don't go hand in hand are sadly mistaken. I am not saying that is the case here, but it is the question I am asking.

Right, one woman single-handedly took out Beechwood and Highlands with a single-minded approach.  And Highlands still hasn't recovered.

  • We just checked the list against ours. Interestingly, DeSales football currently has each and every one of those players listed as a 10 out of 10. (Go Colts!)

  • It is ridiculous for Twitter feeds or radio shows to report stuff like this without verification.    Once it is out on those places, it becomes fair game for commentary on forums such as this.

The St. X president seems to be more about sports than our last president. I know he wants teams to travel out of state more which could be a rub with football due to RPI concerns.

The Coaches Office: Behind the Scenes of HS ? w/ Chuck Smith & David Buchanan

 We talk about this a lot…. Football success on the field is a reflection of Administrative Support. There are many important pieces to winning that are not controlled by the head coach.

 If the administration or any one  at St X starts letting academic standards or performance suffer for athletic success, we will have already lost.

I think you can be good at both. Strong academics and strong athletics is a winning formula.

Has been for 160 years!

Then he really needs to go based on a delusional mindset.

1. Nobody cares about a national schedule;

2. St. X has not had a football team in at least the last 25 years that could compete with a schedule that included multiple national powerhouses;

3. Based on the last week of how St. X has handled resignations, emails, and messaging… no, I don’t think St. X wants national attention;

4. Based on the state of X’s football facilities, X can’t even commit as a school (sans Willy W’s donation) to having the best in KY… and he wants to take on places that literally are schools to support football programs (Bishop Gorman, IMG, DeMatha, etc.)?!?

Thanks for the clarification. The posting of erroneous information based on conjecture is just plain wrong.

The reports are accurate.

An internal memo was attached to some of the emails. It was then saved by some recipients.

Wait until later. More to come

This level of “mistake” does not really fit with the way St. X has operated for decades. Very out of character.

 Not accusing…. I have ZERO proof.

But, from the outside looking in…. Was this done deliberately to facilitate making a change at HFC?

Because of X’s reputation / history and the current circumstances , it sure makes you wonder.

This has been my thought the entire time. This is very unlike X, in pretty much every way.

Also during Placement Test week...very strange I have to say...

This is spot on. I have heard 1st hand what this Chic did in Ft Thomas. Went through the District and even disrupted the Administration like a Tornado. Many sports & activities at Highlands suffer and others thrive from the damage she did to this day. Not recovered is an understatement.
