Honest question, would school be closing at noon if this was a Tuesday?

Reminder that having busses with kids on roads that can potentially flood is not a good scenario and this would be my reason for thinking yes.

Concessions!?! I am boarding up the windows as we speak here in the Fort.  The locals have traded their golf carts for canoes.  Kids are swimming home instead of walking.  After the 2:45pm dismissal,

  • Highlands wins if they stick to the run.

  • No Hiding Here....BC 21

The only sure thing about this game is, this won't be the score....again. Will be a good one.

If we are going that route, with all the rain yesterday and overnight, should the busses have been on the road this morning

Thanks for beating me to the point here. This is bigger than football. I’m sure both teams are more than ready to play but safety is the bigger issue here.

Will the concessions have Goetta?

Concessions!?! I am boarding up the windows as we speak here in the Fort.  The locals have traded their golf carts for canoes.  Kids are swimming home instead of walking.  After the 2:45pm dismissal, of course.  Kroger shelves are empty..  Someone send Tricia Macke for a live report.  Aloha means goodbye.... Maybe I will catch that New Cath vs Raceland game tonight.

UPDATE:

The game will be played tomorrow morning at 10:00am. Still live on the same YouTube link I posted earlier.

Just wanted to check in.. we are safe here in the Fort.  Clear skies with a light breeze from the South.

Nothing like Bluebirds varsity football on a Saturday at 10:00AM.

I know, I am going to have to set an alarm.

The best part of playing at 10am is the game will be the only show in town.  I am looking forward to relaxing and watching the game.

Much better alternative to College GameDay, which I haven't watched in years.
