What a touchdown catch by Lorenzen I think.  It was a wrap around the body catch like Cooper had last week.

Concessions!?! I am boarding up the windows as we speak here in the Fort.  The locals have traded their golf carts for canoes.  Kids are swimming home instead of walking.  After the 2:45pm dismissal,

  • Highlands wins if they stick to the run.

  • No Hiding Here....BC 21

The only sure thing about this game is, this won't be the score....again. Will be a good one.

This is exactly what Highlands needed.

Cooper 21 Highlands 14

33 seconds left in the first half.

Cooper is just running the ball to run out the half I think but now they called a timeout.  Maybe they are going to try to throw to the end zone.

It looked like a Cooper TD with a simple run to the right.

But, the Cooper RB fumbled the ball at the 1 yard line and it went though the end zone.

Highlands got lucky there.

Unreal sequence on the run and fumble at the 1

It was close, the refs were right on it.

Halftime.

Depth perception and two dimensions make it impossible for us to tell.  Maybe there is some good video out there of it, I would like to see it.

Game changing fumble there. Credit to Surrey for sticking with it. Big play.

Agree, that play is exactly why you never, ever quit.

That fumble before halftime was a big help to Highlands.

Never gave up on pursuit.  Fantastic play

We got ourselves a ballgame.

Now who makes the biggest adjustments at the half.

Highlands moving ball well, Litmer finally getting into a groove on those medium yard routes, gotta stay out of 3rd and long though.  Defensively we can’t keep giving Cooper free yardage by jumping on the hard count.

Birds get ball to start the half, get a TD and let’s hold onto our hats!!!

I'd say that one, win or lose, will get a bunch of love in the film room. Uber impressive effort.

That looked like a TD. The ball could have been coming out but all you have to do is cross that white line with control. The back judge had the best view.

I thought it was super close.  But again, depth perception.
