O'h my word, I long for the dislike button.

I hope this is a kid’s comment and not an adult wishing bad on high school kids.  Regardless of what you think, these are still boys.

O'h boy, now I really wish we had the dislike button.

Things are about to get interesting.

This is now out in the very public. I agree with Mason Co on this. Cut the cord and move on.

And now the mom is going after Deron Feldhaus (played for 92 UK vs. Duke, assistant at Mason, son plays (played?) with Reeds

Didn't the Mason County people mock and laugh at Bracken County when the Reeds were there?  Mason County welcomed them with open arms when they transferred.

Regretting that now, I think.

"Nip it in the bud"....that's all you have to do....no one ever did. Now this.

What does this do with colleges that may have had any sort of interest in the boys?

I don't know about colleges being interested, but Newport Public is pretty interested in them.

What does the KHSAA say about eligibility to play at other schools if a kid is kicked off of a team at another school?

I think your first statement might be off base.

I'd be surprised as well. Seems Newport is doing just fine with who they have.

You're entitled to think as you would like, of course. But I would encourage you to talk to Tony Watts about what you think.

Newport's athletic director was the principal at Bracken County for a few years and is a 10th Region official.  I'm sure he is familiar with the situation.

I also was wondering how eligibility would work in this case?
