Have to utilize the check down, Boyle’s MLB’s occupied stopping the QB run between the tackles and the RB in the flat has been wide open. Poor execution at the end of the half and some selfish penalties defensively but other than that you can’t even critique the Rebels. I wonder how CC will come out from the half, it could be worse than 20-0 that’s for sure.

Corbin going to hang a State Runner-Up banner if Boyle beats CovCath by a wider margin than they beat the Red Hounds?  Such a fascination with "the 4A championship was played last week".

What does it say about the quality in Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky since Cov Cath beat those teams on the way to the title game?

Conversely, I would contend that this game is pointing out the level that Boyle County (and Corbin) have been playing at in comparison to the entire rest of the state.

This game is raising some serious questions about the quality of football in NKY this year… Cov Cath looks completely outmatched.

A little of both. Boyle is the best team in the state no matter the class, but this is far from a vintage CovCath team.

BC

Rushing 19-158 yards 2 TDs
Passing 7-12 77 yards
10 1st downs
5-55 yards penalties
2-2 in the red zone.

CC

Rushing 14 -(-4) yards
Passing 4-8 26 yards 2 Int
4 1st downs
3-30 yards penalties

Hard to win a game when you play scared and the CCH coach is coaching scared.  Haddix played to win the game going for it in his own territory on 4th down, CCH punted on 4th and less than 1.  Show your team you have faith in them, get the first down, and keep the Boyle offense on the sidelines.

#52 Bryce Bullock is putting on a clinic on the D-line for Boyle County.

Tavey isn't the only former Golden Lion that's now making plays for the Rebels.

When EE faces adversity his play calling heads way south. I can't wait to see how many QB draws and screen passes he has drawn up for the second half.

It's not fair to say that just based on this game. Boyle is unstoppable. Now if Cooper gets boat raced tomorrow, then I think you have a good point. But I don't think anyone other than Corbin and Trinity could hold a candle to this Boyle team.

Ouch...

I like Coach E!

Pitzer has an intended receiver chosen before the ball is snapped. If that receiver isn't open he's either sitting in the pocket with the ball until he's sacked or he's tucking the ball for a yard or 2 if lucky.
