What does it say about the quality in Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky since Cov Cath beat those teams on the way to the title game?

I agree with you, but devil's advocate: EKY and WKY had a champion already so that is something they can say that NKY can't (at least yet).

Corbin going to hang a State Runner-Up banner if Boyle beats CovCath by a wider margin than they beat the Red Hounds?  Such a fascination with "the 4A championship was played last week".

Conversely, I would contend that this game is pointing out the level that Boyle County (and Corbin) have been playing at in comparison to the entire rest of the state.

Pitch left to Owen Leen. Leen reverses it and picks up a first down.

1st and 10 Colonels on their own 45 yard line.

This game is raising some serious questions about the quality of football in NKY this year… Cov Cath looks completely outmatched.

A lot of teams have looked this way vs. Boyle this year. Heck Frederick Douglass beat Male, and beat both teams in the 6A finals (Trinity in regular season) lost to Trinity in OT and beat Byan Station 20 at Bryan Station. All Douglass could muster vs. Boyle was a 32 yard pass play for a touchdown. Douglass had a grand total of 45 yards for the game.

What a tough run.

QB draw comes up short.

Cov Cath turns over on downs.

1st and 10 Boyle County on their own 47.

Going for it on 4th at midfield, no good.

Good Lord, that line for Boyle is crushing them. #56 in Blue just gets completely blown up.
