    One other comment I will add to the above post. I have seen Mayfield fans worried about only playing 9 games. That is not as big a concern as they might believe it to be. KHSAA RPI is not cumulative.

    I don't put a lot of stock in the first RPi standings. There will certainly be movement. I don't pretend to know the way it all works (opponents opponents win %), but remaining on the top 4's schedule

    If OCath wins out they are RPI #1. Their own winning percentage helps them. 

    Cath will play Green Co in Round 3

    Cath will play Somerset Semi Finals

    Cath will play LCA

    LCA will play Mayfield in 3rd round

    LCA will play Beechwood in Semi Finals

    LCA vs OCath in the Finals.

    Yea I get it. All I’m saying is I’m sure Mayfield and Beechwood fans love people being so sure that LCA can beat both of them in back to back weeks.

    As an LCA dad, that sure makes ME nervous. I'm sure that no one at LCA is making those assumptions.

    I’ll 2nd that. As a long time LCA fan I can say anyone close to the program has much respect for Beechwood, Mayfield, and Owensboro Catholic.

    Oh I agree. Just the gauntlet that Mayfield and LCA have to go through to get a ring this year is crazy.
