I’m hearing from a reliable source that DJ Jackson is now enrolled  and roaming the halls of Newport High School, can anyone confirm?   He comes from Taft.

Are we surprised by this with his connections? One of the trainers:coaches:parents associated with Tae Kinney share stuff about DJ all the time.

Any confirmation on this, you seem to have some connection to Newport.  Seen in another thread you were referring to a Newport asst. coach job hunting.

I did not know Newport is the oldest high school in KY. Established date?

Established in 1799. First class was held in April 1800.

The school not the building, let’s be clear. It makes since. Newport was founded pretty early and round all was one of the first sports brought across the Aleghenney mountains.

Taft has some really good talent in football in that 2024 class with Tayshawn Banks, Jay'Quan Bostic, and Quinton Price. 

Could have been even better had Elias Rudolph not left for Florida. He's probably going to end up at Ohio State when he decides to commit.

Do they return most of their regional championship team? If so these additions will definitely make them a force to reckon with next year.
