What did the five fingers say to the face?!?!

CAL should be favored big in this game. They blew OHS out last year, return the bulk of that team, and the Red Devils are playing with their back up QB and back up running back. Both are talented but young. I think the defense will keep Owensboro in the game but the offense won’t put up enough points to pull the upset. Red Devils lose the turnover battle and the game….24-10.

Yes! Terrible looking injury. Praying the young man makes a speedy recovery. With that being said….the Red Devils are going to be really good!!

And I watched film of Barren Co. last year against Bowling Green and Apollo. I liked them running the Wing T. I think BG goes to Barren this year.

I think Woodford Co. and Scott County are the teams to beat in 5A. Owensboro will get better as Walker settles in at running back and the OL gels better in pass protection. I think the Red Devils start the season 0-2 again then go on a run.

I read that the Red Devils got a transfer from Evansville Harrison. Played Wide Receiver for the Warriors last year. Not sure what grade he is in.

I hate to single out one player but I thought Surratt should have gotten some of Johnson’s minutes at guard. Johnson struggled mightly from the field in both games.

After watching the JR All Stars play Indiana Langhi has my vote for Mr Basketball going into next year.

Indiana won 109-99. And no Braxton Keathley didn’t play.

Watched the Kentucky Junior’s VS the Indiana Junior’s on Youtube(ISC Sports Network) last night. Very impressed with Langhi. He reminds me of Max Green from a few years back. Jointer, Brown, Gay, & Myrick looked good as well.

Do you know if there is somewhere to watch this game online?

Red Devils got their rings earlier this week….

I thought Presbyterian was still D2 when Walt Allen went there.

Do you mean that Brandon Davenport wasn’t committed to a D1 team at the time he was named Mr Basketball?!?! Or do you mean that he never played D1 basketball in his career?? Davenport played for Morehead St under Kyle Macy. A group of us went to a game where he scored 16 points as a freshman in the OVC. I also remember watching him play against UK, on tv, that year. That was Tubby’s National Championship team. I think he scored like 6 points at Rupp. The last person to win Mr Basketball and not play D1 ball was Walt Allen from South Laurel I believe. (AJ Slaughter was in that class btw.)

As others have said the 2 Catholic players are talented and have the measurable’s. If Ty Ashley wasn’t off the board, and he was at these camps, he would be getting more offers IMO. Size matters. I do think the OHS kids will be better off from having attended these camps.
