Final. The Cats only scored 23 points in the 2nd half, but the defense only allowed 22. Also, unlike the Vandy game they made the FT's down the stretch.

Great win! Defense was great all game! Which was huge since the offense disappeared in the second half, after having a good first half!

Any win in this tournament is a good win! Especially as we have seen once again with some other teams losing, how hard it is to win in this tournament.

I'm glad we got the win.  I was at a rather large tournament party so I can't tell how they played.  Seemed like Toppin was a big mismatch for Providence, atleast in the first half.  Oscar obviously dominated the boards.  

Clean it up, get healthy and finish the weekend strong.

Yup that's how it appeared.  25% in the second half is not ideal. Need Livingston and Wallace to step up Sunday. 

You have to win games like this and they did. You aren't going to be on your game every night offensively so it was a great time for the D to show up.

Looking back, UK probably played much better against St. Petersburg last year than in this game...just couldn't hit free throws to pull it out.

Just happy to win ugly instead of scoring 90 and losing...I'd be happy with 5 more ugly wins.

Hey, an ugly win is a ugly win, let’s move on to KansasSt tomorrow, hopefully play better offensively and keep the defensive pressure rolling. And by the way LOL.

Huge win for the Cats!  Got the monkey off their back so to speak.  For the life of me though I don't understand why the Cats didn't back cut against them.  I mean the way they were over playing the passing lanes it was there all night.  Oh well, on to the next game.  Go Cats!
