It will be interesting. He has had a very good year for Providence and a great rebounder. Which obviously rebounding is UKs biggest strength. Which Livingston this year is basically a similar type of player to Hopkins. It will be a fun matchup. 
 

As a UK fan it’s the best draw we could have asked for IMO. Plus I think it may be the easiest region overall.

Doesn't matter what he does. UK just needs to play like they WANT to win.

I am glad UK is matched up against a Big East team, should be a competitive game.

Unreal that Ky was rewarded with a #6 seed and in Greensboro!!! Solidifies that the NCAA is all about the money involved.

UK did finish 3rd in the SEC, a highly rated conference. In theory they should be the 3rd highest seed from the SEC. Are they? I have not seen the brackets yet.

My biggest fear of Providence is their offensive efficiency. They are top 20 (actually 16th) in OE, and efficient teams have given UK problems all season. Their defense isn't great ranked about 30 spots lower than UK's, so if the Cats are patient they should be able to score.

I think the pressure on this game will be ridiculously high and hope the Cats can come out loose and just have fun. I expect a close game.

How is it about the money involved? I mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago that the NCAA already has their money. Tickets to first and second round sites were virtually sold out weeks ago. The only people making money from here forward are those selling tickets on the secondary market.

Not that unreal considering UK finished 25th in the NET rankings. Which before the conference tournaments started they were 21st. Which as we have seen every year the conference tournaments don’t seem to change seeing at all. So based off the NET and where they were ranked before the conference tournament. The committee seeded them based off that, and apparently thought the head to head win over Texas A&M was important enough to seed them over them.

Games time announced as 7pm, which sounds great to me. Glad they don't have a 9:50pm tip or something cause we all know it would start at like 10:30pm.
