Usually in agreement with you, but this is a rough take, especially the elite benefits portion.

Do we have any inside sources mentioning who may be interested?

We can agree to disagree on that part.

No, I personally do not have anything further on the Beechwood job at this time.

I do wonder if any current Beechwood assistant coaches are going to leave too.  I have heard Bob Burnett may be done.  Brandon Berger no longer has any kids on the team and Hergott's son will be a senior.  Has anyone heard anything about any Beechwood assistants leaving too?

That is lot of coaching experience.

One name that has been under the radar, but checks a lot of boxes is Dave Brossart. I’m not sure if he has any interest in being a head coach again, but just a name I hadn’t seen yet. Thoughts?

I think Coach Brossart would do a solid job but how long would he stay?  I would say if Beechwood gets in a bind I would look at Brossart but beyond that I would say no.

Did Brossart retire from teaching and coaching when he left DH Football or did he continue in different role?

I did know he was the OC at Lloyd but beyond that nothing.

What boxes does he check?

What would the negatives be?

Beechwood grad, head coaching experience at at least three different schools, and familiar with the lay of the land.

I will leave the negatives to someone else.

Just Leaked: Beechwood’s contact sheet in order of who they called. (Using strictly the names mentioned in here.) Enjoy!

1)Noel Rash- Just to ask politely one more time (or 10) if he’d like to run it back again. We miss you already.
2)Nick Saban - We know it would be quite discouraging to Colonel fans to see ole Nick wearing Beechwood Red next fall. Would be a decent grab for us. But Not sure if Nick is up for the challenge. Offer is contingent upon Greg remaining on staff.
3)Mike Houston - I’m sure we could find some booster money to bring in the current East Carolina University & staff. Young up & coming coach, with us on the resume, it could be the stepping stone needed to advance in your career.

4) Doug Belk - Rumor has it Houston’s DC has already been looking into Fort Mitchell housing market. Could be big news for us. He had a realtor already, will. Red to provide contact information for his dentist, Ashley Moser, upon hiring.
5) Dale Mueller - Have to bite the bullet here, and gave him a call. He could use a couple more rings.
6) @theguru - It’s now or never.
7) Eddie Eviston - Sources say Eviston didn’t pick up, was busy interviewing across the River for some lower level job. We left a voicemail: “No Park Hills Mafia over here, avoid bridge construction traffic. Talk soon.”

8 ) Bert Bathiany - Highlands wants you to have some state rings as a head coach, perfect resume builder for a couple years before you leave for Ft. Thomas.
9) Greg Hergott - We’d actually prefer you over Saban, just couldn’t make it public to avoid ESPN headlines.
10) Ashley Moser - We love you, but hope you get beat out by someone else so NKY’s oral hygiene remains at a satisfactory level.
11) Bob (and Hayden) Sphire - We aren’t gonna lie, you weren’t originally on our radar, but a few Highlands folks kindly submitted a resume on your behalf.

12) Terry Brown - We won’t hold Pendleton County against you, and guarantee you a quite a bit of wins. Please bring your defense with you.
13) Steve Lickert - We aren’t totally against the idea, but will have to see who gets the Highlands gig next. Will follow up after we speak with Bert & Hayden.
14) Brian Weinrich - Regret leaving us for Newport so soon? No worries, we believe in second chances.
15) David Buchanan - Retirement has to be overrated. Let’s get you a headset.
16) Jeff Barth - Surely you want to work a little closer to the city.
17) Noel Rash - Are you sure?
18) Kyle Niederman - We’re only 2 exits up. You can start Monday.
21) Dave Wirth - We may have been the final straw on the camels back to get you fired at CovCath by beating you, but we promise to try and not schedule Highlands.
19) Dave Brossart - Complete the Dixie Highway trifecta. CovCath, Dixie, Beechwood pending.
20) Dan Woolley - Noel & Greg weren’t interested, but we hear you use Moser as your dentist out in Independence, making you more than qualified.
22) Brandon Berger - Your employment is contingent upon you keeping Greg on staff.
23) Alex Shelton - We’re gonna need to see 2 forms of I'd.
24) Florida HS Coach (TBA) - Jake Owens wasn’t available, but please come north. The weather is great this time of year.
25) Joe Wynn - We can’t get you away from playing CovCath, but we can promise you we won’t be in their district. We’ll reach out once we meet with our guy from Florida.
26) Eric Turner - We’ve got a staff for you in place, and we promise you they will stick around for the entire season.
27) Chase Floyd - HC is better than DC. Can’t help to add another NKY school to the resume.

28) Ryan Baugh - You were our first choice. Disregard names above.
29) Bob Burnett - We don’t blame you if you’d just like to retire.

P.S - I have probably missed a name or two within the thread, and admittedly don’t know quite a few of these guys. So don’t shoot the messenger, this was Beechwood’s call sheet and notes!
