CAL made a BIG statement tonight, maybe the biggest statement of the season so far based on their opponent tonight. I would say that 3A has its more clearly known favorite now.

Wow... Didn't see this one coming. I thought Cal could win, but this margin is wild. Congrats to CAL.

Yes, in the 3rd quarter. It was a 7 point game at the half. When the snowball started rolling, it got bigger in a hurry. 

I’ve got to think this kind of opens up 2A a little as well I think everyone just assumed it would be Beechwood and LCA again. I think now this might open it up for Mayfield and maybe even Owensboro Catholic.

So LCA gave up 49 points?? I understand their qb got injured but 49 points doesn’t have a thing to do with the qb.

Definitely. If Mayfield wins out should end at 2 and LCA at 3 with a home game for Mayfield in the Semis. Assuming things go the way we all think they will.
