I don’t want to turn this into a totally different topic, but Beechwood seems in a completely different league right now. I don’t see them giving up that #1 RPI spot.

What’s the word on Boley’s injury?

He’s a special talent and I hope it’s not something serious.

I believe KHSAA RPI gets posted for the first time this week.

Calpreps.com rates things differently than RPI but it might give some guidance. Before last night's games, Mayfield was #1 on calpreps in 2A. Beechwood passed Mayfield last night to go into the #1 slot in 2A. 

My quick thought on RPI in 2A. If Beechwood beats Cov Cath, they will be #1 in 2A in RPI the rest of the year. Mayfield and LCA will be #2 and #3 and LCA will travel to Mayfield in the semifinals if everyone keeps winning.

That certainly opens things up in 2A but still LCA is gonna be a tough out. Gonna make for some good playoff games this season. 

I hope what I am hearing is wrong, but am hearing that Boley may be done for the season.

If you remember last year Mayfield was leading in the RPI until they got upset by Murray. I say it will be very close in the RPI for #1.

If Beechwood gets beat by CC then I would say they will play LCA.

If Boley is out for a long period or the entire year, I wonder how LCA will look without him? Will they be able to win the games they have left, and how far do they drop without him?

They still have Nieves on the team. If his injury isn’t season ending as well he can easily go right back to playing QB for LCA. He’s already led them to 2 state championships.

If Beechwood beats Cov Cath Beechwood should be 1. PT is the only good team on Mayfields schedule. I know the next 5 teams Mayfield plays in a combined 1-17.
