St. X had Fern Creek cancel last game of season. I'd like to see St. X and Ryle play. Would be interesting game.

Simon Kenton beat Cooper last night 78 to 62 in a crazy high scoring game. Congrats to Simon Kenton on the big win. Simon Kenton finishes the year 7 and 3 and Cooper 8 and 2.

Cooper had five starters out tonight due to injury and lost their starting middle backer in the second quarter. However, that is still no excuse to give up 78 points in a game. If you score 62 points you should win the game. However, Simon Kenton’s offense did whatever it wanted. I think they scored every drive besides for two. Cooper had a fumble that SK scooped and scored on and also SK recovered a fumble on a Cooper kick return to start the second half after Simon Kenton also scored with 2 seconds left before half time. Those extra possessions were huge in a game where neither defense was stopping the other team.

Lots of talent coming up for many teams at the freshman level this year. 

Ryle freshman finish season with perfect record 10-0. Season totals, 377 points scored, 148 points allowed. Gives an average score per game of 38-15. Pretty impressive, considering arguably their best player never played a down at freshmen level, (played varsity all season). The team had several injuries throughout the season, speaks highly to the depth and talent in this class. Congrats young RAIDERS.

Coach Sullivan would be livid if his team gave up 78 ?. All kidding aside, lots of talent at this level across the area. Hopefully they keep playing and continue to develop over the next 3 years!

Well said...unreal how many uber talented freshmen there are around the area this year. Fingers crossed - like you said - they stay on the gridiron for the duration of their high school careers.

Beechwood defeated Campbell County, 50-20.

If SK didn't play Ryle twice, they would have been alone for 2nd place. Good season Pioneers!
