Nothing to do with depth.  Didn’t meet league restrictions.  Kids playing qb have been solid.  From all accounts Lorenzen is just a good football player and will only get better.  Plenty of other kids on this team that are very good football players and if they stick with it and accept coaching the future is bright.

So what all freshman games are this week? I know Cooper plays Campbell. I believe Ryle plays Highlands this week, which should be a very good game IMO.

Beechwood ATH Tyler Fryman led the Tigers with three touchdowns - a 31-yard TD catch from QB Cole Coppage, a ridiculous 57-yard TD run, and a 25-yard TD catch on a beautiful throw into the end zone by QB Bo Sowder. 

Also aiding in the win were FB Brody Aylor, who scored on a 4-yard run, and RB/CB Nathan Pabst, who ran well all night and picked off two Lexington Catholic passes.

I know that’s why he’s not playing qb. My point was that they haven’t missed a beat and that tells me they have good depth at the position.

Cooper moves to 7 and 1 on the year. 

It’s a shame they don’t let the two freshman teams with the best record play again at the end of the season for a freshman “championship” game like they use to do. Since it’s already set on the two freshman teams with the best records this year with Ryle undefeated and Coopers only loss being to Ryle four weeks ago.
 

Ryle should finish off their undefeated season next week against CovCath. Cooper finishes it off next week with Simon Kenton.
